Read what parents are saying about Ramsey Magnet School of ScienceThe school is so crowded. I feel my kids get left behind. We will be transferring to a better school.
Posted by a parent on 9/19/2015As a former and soon to be parent of ramsey I have been impressed by this school. I find the uniform interseting. This way you don't know by mode of dress who can afford name brands and who can not. This I believe will cut down on the way some students are picked on for what their parents can't afford. If we as parents look back to our school days I know we have all seen or been a part of teasing another student for the way they were dressed. This is a great idea.
Posted by a parent on 2/27/2011I am pleased with this Ramsey's academics and community. However, the school's "uniform policy" silly and intrusive. My daughter takes pride in her appearance and her dress is not disruptive--she should be able to wear what she chooses. Policy may be merely a plug for local embroidery shops?

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe other day I watched as Curtis Orthodontics donated a snow cone truck at to Winton Elementary. It was right in the play ground, only kids who sold tickets for curtis ortho ($10 each) were allowed to have a stupid snow cone. Even though this cost the PTA NOTHING. The k-6 children who couldn’t sell tickets or didn’t know anyone who would want to buy ortho tickets (only redeemable for curtis orthodontist treatments) we not allowed to have one and had to watch all the other kids eat snow cones on an extremely hot day. That sucked for the other kids to have to deal with at school and I felt horrible for them. I’ve spent over $6,000 in ortho treatment at curtis orthodontist last year and you’re gonna tell me that my kids can’t have a freaking $2 snow cone with the rest of theirOther Review1y ago - Skyway Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has enrolled too many children that have been expelled from public school. They have also enrolled too many families that are not even Catholic. The core upbringing of Christian Catholic values has been lost.Parent Review5mo ago - Noah's Ark Learning Center

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLAM has been a blessing for our daughter, who is now in her last year at the school. The emphasis LAM places on academics, public speaking and spiritual growth is truly outstanding. We have watched her grow in character and confidence over her time at LAM and we know we can attribute that growth to the loving environment.Parent Review5y ago
