Read what parents are saying about Mililani High SchoolThe school principal, Mr. Murphy, refuses to allow students to drop any AP classes, regardless of pleas about how it might impact their GPA. He appears to prioritize the school's image over individual concerns. This excessive focus on AP classes seems unusual. Additionally, some of the female security guards, display unfriendly behavior that creates discomfort among girls. Their treatment of students, including body shaming, is unsettling, especially considering we are teenagers. Even the dress code violation consequences, such as wearing a bright orange shirt, seem designed to embarrass rather than educate. Their lack of empathy is truly disturbing. And if I’m being completely honest the principal is completely out of touch with the students true feelings, and doesn’t take any chances to understand them.
Posted by a student on 8/18/2023Excellent well-rounded school with great academics and extracurricular activities. Really like Principal Murphy and the administration.
Posted by a parent on 8/30/2022My children loved Mililani High School! They had excellent teachers and a challenging curriculum. There is a robust accelerated program there. My children all got accepted into good universities and I credit the teachers and staff at this hardworking school.
Posted by a parent on 9/23/2021Im Pretty middle ground with it, my academics and grades DROPPED, teachers aren't good, and its hard to become friends with new people. Not cliquey, but hard to find a friend group
Posted by a student on 6/27/201910/10 you have to consider, when reading reviews, that most people with good experiences don’t often write reviews. It’s more often that people with bad experiences write reviews. That being said, the fact that this school has so many good reviews is a testament to just how amazing it is. The teachers are wonderful and I have witnessed little to no bullying. If there is bullying it is immediately felt with and BOTH parties receive help.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been recently remodeled and has air conditioning. My children receive 2-3 recesses a day where they play tag at a field and 4-square on the black top, lunch is 30 minutes, they have tutoring for kids who need extra help, after school care is $100 a month, the staff is friendly and helpful.Parent Review5y ago - Mililani Uka Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur children have been here for two years now, and we have had very mixed experiences. The teachers are wonderful. Both our kids have had absolutely amazing teachers who truly care about helping students learn and excel. However, the administration is a disaster. The enrollment process is ridiculous, and we received conflicting information every time we spoke to someone in the main office. There was no clear pathway to get them enrolled, which resulted in a 6 week wait before our kids could start their school year after our PCS. The conflicting information has continued the entire time we have been here, making it incredibly difficult to navigate our children’s’ education. Any time we have called the office, the person we need to speak to is always somehow out. Even though they promise to relay our message, and it never happens. We never receive calls back as promised, and the school secretaries always act as if it is an incredible burden to assist us. In this respect, I would give the school zero stars if I could. They lost my son’s entire medical record, with all of his PII, and offered no explanation other than a shoulder shrug. They then explained that we would need to replace the information immediately so he could continue attending. The only thing we dislike about our assignment is Wheeler Elementary, and for that reason alone, I would be willing to cut our tour here short. We’ve dealt with five different school systems throughout our childrens’ education, and it is truly unfortunate how abysmal the school administration is at this school.Parent Review2y ago - Kipapa Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTwo of my kids transferred to this school during the reopening from Covid. The entire faculty and staff are all very welcoming to both students and parents. Many of the staff and even the principal took time to know my kids, and they are greeted everyday when walking the halls. They handle Covid guidelines pretty well and my kids have transitioned easily. Overall, my kids have shown great progress in their academics and social skills since starting at this school. Most importantly, we all feel safe here. Mahalo KES!Parent Review3y ago - Kanoelani Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is excellent! My children transferred to Kanoelani and initially struggled with the rigor at this school, but with the excellent guidance of the teachers they quickly caught up! The new Choose Love approach to personal self development is amazing. The leadership and teachers at this school are top notch! The honest feeling of Ohana runs true at Kanoelani! Thank you Kanoelani for being such an excellent school.Parent Review6y ago - Mililani Ike Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMililani Ike is such a friendly school. The teachers are great and the office staff are very helpful. The campus is beautiful and well maintained. The school encourages family involvement and my children enjoy going to school each day. People move to Mauka just to have their children attend this school.Parent Review2y ago - St John's Catholic Preschool
