Liberty Point Elementary School

This School is a HUGE disappointment. If you can just send your child elsewhere. There is absolutely NO communication. The homework that my child gets has been duplicates multiple times and full of errors that make it hard to decipher the questions/answers. 0 classwork comes home so you have absolutely NO idea what's happening or what they are learning. This year we have received NO information about class events and functions. Ive never missed a single event until this year. They also took away recess? These kids needs excersize and to get their energy out. Also "No child left behind." Yeah right. In this school it's MOST children left behind.

I am pleased with the school thus far. I will state when you have less teachers and a large student body it makes it hard to teach and engage with students. I believe that this school has the potential to succeed.

I've been pleasantly surprised with my experience at this school. I think they have created an inviting and challenging environment for kids. Currently, they are the only STEM certified elementary school in South Fulton and with my daughter being in the gifted program I can attest to the rigor of their science and math classes first-hand. My daughter will be going in March on a 3 day science field trip to Tybee Island, needless to say that we are super excited about that! Overall, I feel lucky that this is our zoned school.

Landmark has been great for our family - our children are developing into respectful and motivated learners who aren't afraid to try new things. Academics are amazing for all types of learning styles and the parent community is wonderful!

My nephew attends this school and he has been constantly bullied, assaulted and called racial slurs by one student in particular. The school has refused to do anything about. My next move is to send him to school with a body camera for proof because apparently his bruises, and tears aren't enough.
