I am pleased with the school thus far. I will state when you have less teachers and a large student body it makes it hard to teach and engage with students. I believe that this school has the potential to succeed.

From the first day that I dropped her off I've always felt secure and knew that they had her best interest at heart. The teachers have been nothing short of AMAZING!!!. They care about the students and their work.

Posted by a parent on 5/6/2015I have two kids 1st grader and 4th grader I think this is the BEST public school EVER! I love my principal and I was on the PTA but I couldn't maintain my position due to my job. They are SO welcoming and it truly a sense of community inside the school.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis School is a HUGE disappointment. If you can just send your child elsewhere. There is absolutely NO communication. The homework that my child gets has been duplicates multiple times and full of errors that make it hard to decipher the questions/answers. 0 classwork comes home so you have absolutely NO idea what's happening or what they are learning. This year we have received NO information about class events and functions. Ive never missed a single event until this year. They also took away recess? 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been pleasantly surprised with my experience at this school. I think they have created an inviting and challenging environment for kids. Currently, they are the only STEM certified elementary school in South Fulton and with my daughter being in the gifted program I can attest to the rigor of their science and math classes first-hand. My daughter will be going in March on a 3 day science field trip to Tybee Island, needless to say that we are super excited about that!
