Freeman's Mill Elementary School

This school is amazing! My son has been coming here for 2 years and my daughter went all 6 years here. We absolutely love this school, administration and the staff. It is a very warm and welcoming place. My son thrives and soaks up every piece of teaching his teacher provides. He comes home wanting to share everything he has learned and experienced. The staff is always happy and engaged in the students. They even attend sporting events played by students on the weekends! The school hosts fun and engaging events throughout the year. You got to check out the Multi Cultural night, wow so much fun! My daughter is in high school and still keeps in touch with some of her teachers. It's a wonderful place to start your child's education!

My son enjoys the school, got good friends and doing good academically.

This school focuses a lot on test prep and not actually teaching your kids to retain the information presented. This school does very little to help the kids stay interested and focused. A lot of the kid in the neighborhood come to my house to play and they always complain that they aren't being taught, they say the teachers are rude and speak very aggressive to them. I've even had to report a teacher speaking to my child in a very unprofessional way just because my child had questions and needed something repeated. My other neighbor had to report a teacher because that teacher got upset with the kids and threw a white board eraser on her desk from across the room and scared the kids. If you want your kids to be treated like a number and stressed out at an early age , not given all the tools needed to be successful, parents are not even given any information in advance to help prep the kids for up coming subjects or test....then this is the school for you. The teachers are cold and only speak to the kids and not the parents when they come in to the school. It's weird and ridiculous.

I love this school and my kids loving it as well.

My son was an IEP student and they were very instrumental in getting him in regular curriculum before middle school started. They were attentive and absolutely amazing. Love this school!
