Kay R Pace Elementary School of the Arts

The 2025-2026 school year academically at Brown was horrible for my son. The whole school year there was only one parent teacher conference. I stayed in contact with his teacher to see if there was anything he needed extra work on at home and I was told there were no worries. Both ceremonies for the year my son was not included yet his teacher said he was doing well in class. I left a voicemail months ago with parent liason about the matter and she never called me back. He will not be attending next year. Every year it gets worse but this year was THE FIRST of him not making AB honor roll. Highly disappointed

This school is okay not the best due to not communicating or having regular meetings my child was a kindergarten student and I never really heard from the teacher the whole school year unless I reached so I don’t know if my child needed help with anything or having a good or bad day because my child is really shy I also did not agree with how pricey everything was throughout the year seems like I had to pay for literally every event that the school decided to throw field trips is understandable but to graduate was a bit excessive but overall the year ended on a good note I hope communication gets better

The staff is wonderful here. Very communicative and truly encourages parent involvement.

Worst school to ever send you’re child

I think this is the most med school I have ever seen it's okay but the teaching needs to be upgraded.. Remember I'm a kid. Thank you for your time..

I have a issue with this school, I don’t know why they’re teaching my 1st grader about segregation and riots/protests, it should be taught but that should be in civics and so on, not when they’re learning addition and multiplication with basic language arts. It feels like they’re trying to get political and I think that’s horrible for my kid.
