Fox Elementary School

The students and teachers deserve a more joyous environment. The current atmosphere created by the sitting principal is punitive and very condescending. Parental involvement would also increase if the principal created a more welcoming environment. The only thing Sherwood is worried about is competing with Lakewood and making an A. Focus on the students and your great staff and you may achieve that status. The top-down approach is not getting better results out of your teachers and students.

Each time I was in contact with office staff, they were hostile, rude, and never willing to help. If they did look at you, it was up and down first. I loathed having to go in there just as much as they seemed to be there. Maybe it was just my two years experience but for that simple reason, we will not spend time/money at this particular school.

I love River Road Elementary the staff, the teachers, the assistant principal and the principal everyone is just wonderful in that school. Today was the first day of school and all the staff and teachers were just lined up at the doors and the hallways to welcome the students back it was just so beautiful and respectful. For my children and I River Road Elementary is one of the best schools in Muscogee county.

My family and I love SLS!! My oldest is now in 3rd has been attending SLS since Jr-K and she refuses go anywhere else. The teachers are very loving and caring! The whole staff is wonderful and always makes me feel like family. I can’t wait to enroll my other kids. I have so many wonderful for stories I would be willing to share with new families.
