Posted by a student on 6/25/2026Dean Rusk Middle School is, without exaggeration, one of the most frustrating and disappointing school environments I’ve encountered. From the top down, the place feels disorganized, unresponsive, and completely out of touch with what students actually need to succeed. Communication is practically n

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in 5th grade and has thrived at HFES. The teachers she has had are warm and welcoming and support her with everything she needs. The administration is welcoming and easy to talk to. We will miss being a HFES family next year.Parent Review9mo ago - Mountain Road Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMountain Rd., Elementary is a fabulous small school with under 400 students. Faculty staff everyone who works in the school are knowledgeable and care very much for the students. Safety is one of the priorities of Mountain Road along with offering a rigorous curriculum. The school has a gifted program one to one ratio in technology and so much more. I can’t say enough about the school. It is like a private school.Parent Review1y ago - Holly Springs Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is what I have experienced ever since my son has been in this school. The Front Desk is very Rude and Disrespectful. They do not follow their rules as they say. They choose who they want to let in without ID. Also, I have never experienced any school where I have to get an appointment before seeing the Principal of the school. No other alternative was made on who to see in case the Principal is not available at the time of visit.Parent Review4mo ago - Indian Knoll Elementary
