Glynn Middle School

My daughter is in 1st grade here and she had an amazing Kidnergarten experience. She had an excellent teacher. Coming into 1st grade she is currently being evaluated for the gifted program as she is reading way beyond her reading level. This school does a great job of planning activities for the children that involves parents. And it is not hard to access the teacher if you need to have a discussion. The communication is pretty solid. My only downside is that they dont wear uniform but aside from that they ensure plenty safety of the children.

You can’t have a professional job because you never know if the boys and girls club at Burroughs-Molette elementary is going to pick up your child or not. You fill out a large packet, asking for your number and your email multiple times. The only problem is that they never use it to actually communicate with the parents. If you need communication and professionalism pick another place.

I believe this school was great before the new management. My eldest attended and it was great and it set her up for success now that she’s in college at UGA! Under the new management currently with my youngest attending.. the staff is horrible. I believe the school is no longer focused on faith and more greed. Always something to pay for every week, and the financial office lady can never give me an answer, a lot of the good teachers also left with the new management and I feel like it also took away from my child’s education and I feel like this will be my last two semesters before we switch elsewhere. Saint Francis is supposed to be built on faith and trust and giving and love. This school is now nothing but status and greed.
