Posted by a student on 8/21/2018Gangs, Drugs, Violence Doesn't make up a School! Good Education & Great Staff, and both of those is what the school is lacking. If you're Thinking of Switching from Private to Public or even another Public School to this one, just know it's not the Right Decision.
Posted by a student on 3/29/2017I think the curriculum and course offerings are rigorous and help prepare students for college and work. My 10th grader has found his motivation at this high school and makes us proud. My gratitude and admiration goes out to the good teachers and administration of Brunswick High.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAltama Elementary was the best school Ever! My fondest childhood memories began here from 1978-1982. My favorite teachers were Mrs. Eula Wells, Ms. Kaye Roberson & Ms. Dottye McClendon....course it was a different time back then. Teachers really cared about a child's academics & well being. There was creativity, parent involvement and most of all we acted like children and were into childish things like -playing outside, Sesame Street, arts & crafts, games, performing in school plays at PTA. The teacher's job is to channel their inner child and make learning fun and inspirational. The parent's job is to show interest, reinforce, volunteer, teach their child good moral values and come to PTA. Take the computers out and of elementary schools and let these kids PLAY and watch Sesame Street and sing songs from the Sound of Music & Mary Poppins!!!!Other Review13y ago - Goodyear Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in 1st grade here and she had an amazing Kidnergarten experience. She had an excellent teacher. Coming into 1st grade she is currently being evaluated for the gifted program as she is reading way beyond her reading level. This school does a great job of planning activities for the children that involves parents. And it is not hard to access the teacher if you need to have a discussion. The communication is pretty solid. My only downside is that they dont wear uniform but aside from that they ensure plenty safety of the children.Parent Review3mo ago - Burroughs-Molette Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school for nearly nine years. The teachers were hate-mongers with the most narrow world view I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. If you send your child here you are compromising their future for the sake of your religious beliefs.Other Review8y ago - St Francis Xavier Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been involved with this school for many years. Two of my children are graduates. The faculty has a heart for children. The admin. has been in christian education for over 30 years. I truly believe this school has the best balance in the county of teaching academics and christian character. I highly recommend it .
