7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year and my child is in kindergarten. We moved from a State where the only option was private school and they expected perfection from babies. That being said my child has excelled here. She is academically doing well and has finally found her place. For my child the environment and rewards system they use for behavior has been wonderful. They also seem to understand that kids will be kids but take the right things seriously. Everyone on staff I have encountered has been very pleasant and seem to really like being there. PTA also seems very involved and I would almost equate them to what I have seen in private settings which says something. We have many years to go but hopefully my child will continue to grow at this school.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Seven Oaks Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSerious concerns regarding leadership, overreach, and retaliation. My 9-year-old son, a fourth-grade student, was involved in a verbal altercation outside of school, off campus, and unrelated to any school activity. Despite having no jurisdiction, the school chose to involve itself after the other family escalated the situation by contacting both police and the school.Without witnessing the incident and without an impartial review, the school attempted to force our family to sign a no-contact order. We refused.Since that refusal, my child has been singled out and disproportionately scrutinized for minor, routine behaviors—creating a clear pattern of targeting rather than support. This change in treatment has been consistent and unmistakable. Our interaction with the principal was particularly troubling. Communication was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, lacking neutrality or respect. A public school principal should not speak to parents in an adversarial or condescending manner, especially when discussing matters outside the school’s authority. This experience raises serious concerns about leadership, judgment, and how easily a family’s complaint can trigger administrative overreach and retaliation against a child.Parents should think carefully about whether this school’s administration can be trusted to act fairly, professionally, and within appropriate boundaries.Parent Review4mo ago20 Reviews - Veterans Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school we ever been to. No wonders all of our neighbors prefer homeschooling than going to this school. Absolutely irresponsible staff. It’s been 2,5 months since I’m waiting when they will add my email to the system. I’m not receiving any information about my child.Parent Review3mo ago18 Reviews - Clark Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudents at this school are not safe. Teachers and administrators put their hands on children and verbally abuse them. When mistreatment is reported, administrators do nothing because they protect the teachers instead of the students. If you care about your child’s mental health, do not send your child to this school. I don’t care how many fake or made-up reviews they post or how often they brag about being an “A” school. This is one of the worst public schools my child has ever attended. It’s probably also why they removed the Google reviews section so parents can’t see what’s really going on here.Parent Review3mo ago43 Reviews - Wiregrass Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the only elementary school in the district that offers band, which has been a wonderful opportunity for students. The school feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff and teachers are hardworking, dedicated, and truly care about their students’ growth and success. There is a strong sense of community, and it’s clear the school is committed to giving kids a well-rounded education. We are very grateful for the support and opportunities our children have received here.Parent Review4mo ago18 Reviews - North Tampa Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers go above and beyond. The school has cameras that record everything and security guards (retired military) that really care for the students. The diversity helps students feel welcomed. As a parent I love that my kids get to praise God at school and learn about the bible with other Christian kids.Parent Review3mo ago3 Reviews
