Sligh Middle School

My sons went to this school for 3 years from 2017 to 2021 and I also worked at this school for them years and I quit and took my kids out.. PLEASE DON'T SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL.. They is some good teachers at this school but not many cause most of them lifted as well.. But my youngest is special needs and all the teachers was telling me is he doing great he on level we got to the new and he is on a kindergarten level he is in 3rd grade this school doesn't care about your children If I could I would give them no stars but since there is some good teachers that do care I will put 1 star THERE SO MUCH MORE I CAN SAY BUT IM RUNNING OUT OF ROOM FOR YOUR SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN Don't SEND THEM to this school bullying is bad here

I really hate this school. I don't feel as my child is learning properly and the teachers act as if they care about the grade and not their learning. It really sucks to know that my child is not getting what she needs.

My child did not know english and Seminole Height ES was her first school in US. Principle and teachers did so great, so she was amazing last 2 years.Every morning she gets warm and excited welcome by Principle and teacher from gate.I am very grateful to school and best wish for them to level up soon.

Horrible school. Staff is so irresponsible. I feel like my kid will not succeed in this type of school. Fights EVERYDAY. Staff cussing not caring about students. Kids always on they phones recording gang signs and cussing. Like this school needs to be shut down!! It’s hurting the kids!! Look at the scores. Please shut this school down for the sake of the kids that want a career in life.

Beautiful campus and classrooms and great teachers! This is a well run school.

I am a former student. Things could’ve definitely improved since my time there. But, I went here as a child around year 2003-2005. The children were gross and horrible along with the staff who thought it was helpful to publicly paddle the children for situations that were not that serious, such as not being able to sit still, or in my case talking to another student. They took children to the park and left us unattended which allowed for me to be push by other children from a jungle gym resulting in a black eye. They would also force us to be outside and play in scorching heat resulting in my hand being burned raw from a 200 degree monkey bar. After these injuries they also decided to not inform my mother who had to come pick me up clueless as to what happened to me. The teacher would also show blatant favoritism to her own daughter (named julissa) who happened to be in my class, and she would do half the things other students did without consequences. Hopefully they changed that entire god awful staff. They had absolutely no patience for children and should’ve chosen a different profession.

this is my favorite school because teachers are so respectful and my experience in this school was so good
