Foster Elementary School

First day here dropping off my toddlers, as a mother ofcourse sobbing in the car line and as I drove past certain teachers I began to apologize for moving so slow and out of no where I hear a shout angrily tone scream back from a teacher (well sorry ain’t gonna cut it). What was a good moment went to the ruts.Another time we had a traumatic incident happen in the school with my nonverbal 3yr old. Took 3wks to get a meeting with principal. Had to deal with staff dismissing important details about situation and staff lying about certain behavior and knowing school policy. Terrible communication and zero care for a child with special needs. Had to move schools to get a better outcome. I would NOT recommend this school.

My child did not know english and Seminole Height ES was her first school in US. Principle and teachers did so great, so she was amazing last 2 years.Every morning she gets warm and excited welcome by Principle and teacher from gate.I am very grateful to school and best wish for them to level up soon.

Beautiful campus and classrooms and great teachers! This is a well run school.

I am a former student. Things could’ve definitely improved since my time there. But, I went here as a child around year 2003-2005. The children were gross and horrible along with the staff who thought it was helpful to publicly paddle the children for situations that were not that serious, such as not being able to sit still, or in my case talking to another student. They took children to the park and left us unattended which allowed for me to be push by other children from a jungle gym resulting in a black eye. They would also force us to be outside and play in scorching heat resulting in my hand being burned raw from a 200 degree monkey bar. After these injuries they also decided to not inform my mother who had to come pick me up clueless as to what happened to me. The teacher would also show blatant favoritism to her own daughter (named julissa) who happened to be in my class, and she would do half the things other students did without consequences. Hopefully they changed that entire god awful staff. They had absolutely no patience for children and should’ve chosen a different profession.

this is my favorite school because teachers are so respectful and my experience in this school was so good
