All my kids came this school an I love how they understand my kids .. there are awesome school

I will say that there are some great teachers at this school but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the awful ones. There is clear bullying that goes on at this school (not just from the students) and nothing is done even if you bring it to their attention. If the kids talk in the lunchroom and they feel its "too loud" they will just the lights off on your kids. If your kid stands up for themselves and tell someone no, you get a call immediately that your child is being "defiant". The AP Sierra likes to call your kid names and pull them into their office to discuss "issues" but does not let the parents know. Its amazing how kids that were labeled as "disruptive and bad" are THRIVING at different schools.

The communication is not the best. They usually send notices late. The car pick up line has been so disorganized for years because they don’t help cars merge fairly. They seem to hire a lot of new teachers every year and that could be great or could be bad depending on the teacher. But clearly not many teachers teach here long term.

Our experience at Hillel Academy, Tampa has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my son started at this school at the age of three, we have been welcomed into a supportive and nurturing community. The staff has shown incredible patience and understanding as we navigated various challenges, including my son's social anxiety and communication issues. Their dedication to creating a safe environment where he can learn and grow has made a significant impact on his development.What I appreciate most is the innovative approach to education that Hillel Academy embraces. The teachers not only engage students in unique ways but also foster a sense of belonging and confidence among them. It’s clear that the entire team is committed to the well-being and success of each child.I feel truly fortunate to be part of this school community, where the focus is not just on academics but also on personal growth. Hillel Academy has become our family, and I couldn't imagine my son being anywhere else. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent seeking a caring and effective educational environment for their child!
