Horrible experience. Would not recommend unless you are able to be give donations. Then I am certain your experience will be different. While my son attended Gilchrist a teacher grabbed my son and shook him and nothing was done. Another PE teacher refused to give my son water when he was thirsty. Another student showed my son his private parts and my son was punished for not wanting to sit by this student. All 5th grade students could submit baby pictures in the year book. My son was the only picture not included. We are school choice and my son's last teacher made incredibly rude comments to him in front of his classmates. Worst experience ever. I am so glad my son is done with Gilchrist. There is a no repercussions for poor treatment of students. The staff is so closely nit they protect each other. Lie and cover up bad behavior. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

If I could rate it lower on the safety scale, I would literally give it zero stars. This school is a big disappointment. It does not protect it’s students. They do not report incidents. They only report when social workers need to get involved. I thought the teachers and staff were supposed to protect the students, but they’re not doing any of that. This is very disappointing 010. Definitely do not recommend.

My daughter attended summer VPK at Betton Hills in 2012, and we had a wonderful experience. The teachers and administration were excellent!

I don’t even know where to start. I was praying this year would start off strong. Please don’t come here. The head of school, Justin just reeks of pompousness. What is the school board trying to create!? Little Justin’s!? Pick another private school.

I have had children at HCES for 10 years. My son has just graduated 8th grade and gone on to high school. HCES set a remarkable foundation for my son and his approaching to learning and knowledge. He is completely prepared for high school with strong study skills and knowledge base. He is confident in his ability to do high school work well! The size of the school is large enough to be dynamic but small enough that the personal attention for each student makes all the difference.

I have been attending NFC since 3k and I have became pretty familiar with staff and fellow students, I believe that our academic preparation and practice is lacking, we are not nearly as advanced as even the public schools surrounding us, the students will discriminate anyone they deem as an outsider or minority, many people who have graduated from nfc have said they hated their high school experience and been bullied at some point while attending. The teachers tends to overshare personal info to their classes and go as far as to humiliate other students in-front of their peers for simple mistakes. Not every aspect of Nfc is bad I have had many good experiences and met few amazing people but id definitely say the bad outweighs the good and when I have a child I will never be sending them there..
