I am an alum of HCES and had the great opportunity to come home and work. Holy Comforter prepared me to succeed academically and as a person. As a child, I would love to come to school and now I love coming to work. It’s still that same loving, caring environment in which you learn the tools to succ

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible experience. Would not recommend unless you are able to be give donations. Then I am certain your experience will be different. While my son attended Gilchrist a teacher grabbed my son and shook him and nothing was done. Another PE teacher refused to give my son water when he was thirsty. Another student showed my son his private parts and my son was punished for not wanting to sit by this student. All 5th grade students could submit baby pictures in the year book. My son was the only picture not included. We are school choice and my son's last teacher made incredibly rude comments to him in front of his classmates. Worst experience ever. I am so glad my son is done with Gilchrist. There is a no repercussions for poor treatment of students. The staff is so closely nit they protect each other. Lie and cover up bad behavior. Trabajan muy fuerte para mantener la intregracion de l@s estudiantes y padres. Por razones religiosas estuve buscando escuelas privadas y en realidad no se comparan con Buck Lake Elementary. Es exceptional en todo, desde la organizacion en el aula hasta la distribucion del patio.
