Family Learning Centers

So far the experience has been very good. One child graduated this year and another has 2 more years. I am impressed with how open-minded leadership is from the principal down to PTO. The teachers work with you.

The teachers, except the new ones, are seasoned professionals and care about the whole child. You will not find better teachers in the private schools. Mrs. Soviero and Mrs. Aboujja in 5th grade are Master Teachers and the best of the best. Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Pawlek in 1st grade are really great teachers. Mrs. Robinson even visited my daughter in the hospital and brought cards from her fellow students and read a book to her. I challenge you to find ANY teacher today who would do that!! However, the administration is weak and needs an overhaul. No backwards planning, no"big ideas," no scaffolding, no data walls, no data meetings. Transformative Leadership, Collaborative Committees, anything for 21st century learners other than lipservice to STEM is non existent. EI goals, social emotional learning NOT on the radar. (Can you tell we moved from the progressive West Coast?) School Admin does not meet the needs of the diverse.community it serves, which is a shame. So much potential with GREAT teachers. This school deserves GREAT leadership!

My daughter has attended Bridges for 12 years, from Toddler through 8th grade. It has been the most amazing experience of education that I could ever dream up. I wish I could have gone to this school! They are focused on always bringing out the best in all their students, on teaching responsibility, and creating a safe learning environment for everyone! My daughter loves it there so much, that even though they don't have a 9th grade (yet) she wants to stay there next year! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!

As a mom of two boys—one in elementary school and one in middle school—I can honestly say that choosing First Baptist Christian School has been one of the best decisions for our family.What truly makes this school special is the genuine love and care you feel the moment you walk through the doors. Each classroom has its own unique teaching style, which we really appreciate, but what remains consistent throughout is a strong foundation of love, faith, and a true sense of community. It truly feels like family.The school is deeply rooted in a strong biblical worldview, and that foundation guides everything they do as they develop students who are grounded in faith, character, and purpose.We are so grateful to be part of this school and for the partnership they build with families. It truly feels like we are all working together to support and nurture our children in the best possible way.

We’ve been at this school for a year and my child is thriving, so we are sending our second here as well and can’t wait for her to grow and thrive in this warm and welcoming environment and benefit from a rigorous and well rounded curriculum.
