Read what parents are saying about Liberty Elementary SchoolLiberty Elementary us a great school for both of my kids. They have had thoughtful and caring teachers. We enjoy all the events. The office staff is friendly and go above and beyond to meet the needs of the families.
Posted by a community member on 6/2/2023This school is the worst experience of education in my life. My kids went to private school where the abeka program was taught (the program is very challenging). My kids had great grades and I have seen a progress in their academics, but this school made my kids failure. They get C and D, and most F, no communication, no homework, no help from teachers to improve grades, when you talk to teachers they only say read 20 minutes. I asked all moms whose kids attend other schools and they all get their tests back for parents to see what their kids do not understand or missing to help to catch up on it, and nothing at this school. I don't see any progress, kids started to read worse than they did before. Please, stay away from this school.

Posted by a parent on 11/15/2021We have had a great experience so far. Teachers, support staff and admin have been warm, welcoming and supportive. My son has behavioral struggles and they are going above and beyond to work with and support him. He loves school and can't wait to go back after breaks.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family has had great experiences with Neil Armstrong Elementary. My children began in the 3rd and 4th grade, after attending 3 schools prior. Their grades were suffering and we were having trouble finding a school with both great staff and teachers combined until we found Neil Armstrong. My kids have had some of the best teachers, who along with staff, worked to get them where they needed to be and are now excelling. I couldn't be more thankful to all the wonderful and dedicated staff at this school.Parent Review1y ago - Meadow Park Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am afraid of the damage this school will do to my kids if I keep them enrolled here. The teachers are unhappy and dump their emotional issues on the kids. The teachers do not accept different backgrounds or learning techniques. The teachers will not put in additional effort to help the students understand material or send home examples of work or class work with homework. If my son has to hide in the bathroom and cry because his teacher verbally abuses him in front of the class as a target she should be sent to anger management and not be working with kids. My other child's teacher is kind but so depressed she told the class she goes home and wants to do things but lays in bed every night afterwork because they make her so tired. (Depression?). Who is checking in on these classrooms and teachers? If the school ratings are 50 percent should the school board be looking into some over haul?Parent Review2y ago - Charlotte Preparatory

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing staff, curriculum and overall energy. Each of the faculty, in my experience, genuinely cares for the students futures and well being. To say that Charlotte Prep takes pride in watching their students grow academically and spiritually is an understatement. My kids have been going to Charlotte prep for nearly 6 years and generally accel in all areas as compared to a public school curriculum. Our kids will be going all the way through 8th grade at Charlotte Prep. A big thanks you to the great faculty of Charlotte Prep.Parent Review1y ago - Genesis Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school supports students, teachers, and staff in a way that goes above and beyond the normal. The reviews about the administration, let's just say that everyone is allowed their opinion, but it is one opinion, and staffing was not characterized correctly, call the school for straight information. the school has grown over 50% in the time that the current administration has been in place, which says a lot about what is going on there and how parents are wanting their kids to be a part of what God is doing at Genesis.Teacher Review8mo ago - Community Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is time for a new principal. Tonya Peters has proven her incompetence in this role for 9 years. Teacher turnover, poor hiring, sudden retirements of effective teachers are your evidence. So are declining standardized test scores, decline in student success of graduates in our local high schools. Families with long histories at the school choosing differently for their younger children. Resources for kids with learning differences are scarce, as are supports for teachers. Student behavior has plummeted. The academic, religious and cultural experience that St Charles was known for has been effectively chiseled away by Tonya Peters policies. Hopefully the parish administrator and the Diocese will make an immediate decision to salvage the schools reputation, and do the right thing for the children they serve. Our children and families deserve it.Parent Review1y ago - Academy of Biblical Character Development Schools
