Read what parents are saying about Tedder Elementary SchoolThis school is a Total disaster. The principal is awful.
Posted by a community member on 1/20/2018Very disappointing they have a new principal and things seemed to be taking a better route but that was obviously not the case this year a child was lost at dismissal time and they seem to be more concerned with uniforms then the bullying going on.
Posted by a parent on 11/28/2017Tedder staff is very dedicated and knowledgeable. Technology is first class! Environment is safe and friendly. I love Tedder!
Posted by a teacher on 6/10/2014This school is so unorganized. Kids are outside fighting and running at the pick up after school. The teachers are more worried about FCATs than teaching. Kids get bullied and nothing is done. My child just started at this school and he is so unhappy. He hates to go to this school and he is a child who loves school and loves to learn. No wonder they are failing.
Posted by a parent on 9/12/2012I have been a substitute teacher for more than two decades. I have taught in over 30 schools. This is one school I will never return to. It is more like an asylum where the inmates are running the place. By far the very worst school I have ever been in. Most of the substitute teachers I know have had the same experience and avoid this school completely.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended to Norcrest since kindergarten, based on our experience, I can say with no doubt that its teachers are just beyond expectations. They are amazing teachers, who are deeply committed to transmitting a high-level teaching, also, they are amazing human beings, compassionate and kind. As parent I've felt supported by every teacher during these years, including in complex situations that arose, and shared some amazing and easy solutions to apply, each one as an opportunity to learn, to have more experience, and to become a better person and student. I've felt confident to bring to his teachers my concerns, and I had received unexpected positive feedbacks. But it's not only about the teachers, all the staff of this school is committed in sharing their best with everyone around, making possible to create a harmony and healthy environment. I was born abroad, so for me, it was beyond my thoughts when discover how Norcrest, as a public school, has so much to offer. In their curriculum, one can find the primary subjects as math, grammar, social science, specials like music, science, Spanish, art, p.e., etc., but also, robotics club, debate club, theatre, chorus, morning news broadcasting, and much more. They also provide after school program with a variety of activities and resources. One of the things that had most impressed me was the “Gifted and Talented Program”, for me this actually proves how much care they take in every student and their capabilities.Family activities are also part of the year program, encouraging families and school staff to meet and enjoy together, strengthening relationships in the community. My son is in 4G and he loves to be at Norcrest 100%. For sure, we will miss this community when the time to go to middle school comes.Parent Review2y ago - Cresthaven Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers are disrespected by parents and the administration. Teachers are given additional tasks that are unnecessary and take time away from teaching. Students are not held accountable for their behaviors. Teachers are not supported by administration and are often told to do extra unpaid work “for the kids” when they won’t do these tasks themselves.Parent Review1y ago - Palmview Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a single mom, I have been trying for years to get my son into Highlands Christian but could not afford it on my income. With the Step-Up Scholarship, we were finally able to achieve our goal for my 14 yr old to start High School as a Freshman. We went through Orientation which was quite detailed and allowed my son to meet his Teachers and get to know his way around the school and his schedule. He just had his first day, and has made friends and is so happy for what the next 4 years will bring. I believe in a biblical education and so happy to see that the students have Chapel once a week. The staff has been amazing with the application and transition process for my son to go from being Homeschooled, to back to having a student experience at school. I am hoping to be a steward and volunteer in a PTA capacity to raise money for the teachers and students. We are thrilled to be part of the HCA family.Parent Review7mo ago - Precious Kidz Too
