Read what parents are saying about Cresthaven Elementary SchoolTeachers are disrespected by parents and the administration. Teachers are given additional tasks that are unnecessary and take time away from teaching. Students are not held accountable for their behaviors. Teachers are not supported by administration and are often told to do extra unpaid work “for the kids” when they won’t do these tasks themselves.
Posted by a parent on 6/26/2022I ask for a transfer to Cresthaven and it is the best thing that I did for my kids education.
Posted by a parent on 4/13/2018My grandson is happy at Cresthaven.Elementary He is a second grader and has been at that school since age 4. He has done very well with all his teachers. He looks forward to going to school each day and is happy to talk about his day and what he has learned. I am wondering why test scores have gone down so much since 2012-2013? The teachers are very dedicated and hard working. All staff at the school are extremely helpful and upbeat. I feel that test scores are important , but that fact that a child is doing well and is happy in his environment is also very important
Posted by a community member on 10/17/2016I love Cresthaven Elementary! My daughter had trouble adjusting to kindergarten and her teacher and the administrators have really worked with her and with us to be sure that she stays on track, gets the guidance she needs and learns. With all her trouble she still loves school and her teacher and I feel that the administration truly cares about her well being. I see how this school has been an "A" school for 10 years. That doesn't happen by chance, especially as a Title I school. It takes love and dedication and I would recommend Cresthaven to anyone hands down.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended to Norcrest since kindergarten, based on our experience, I can say with no doubt that its teachers are just beyond expectations. They are amazing teachers, who are deeply committed to transmitting a high-level teaching, also, they are amazing human beings, compassionate and kind. As parent I've felt supported by every teacher during these years, including in complex situations that arose, and shared some amazing and easy solutions to apply, each one as an opportunity to learn, to have more experience, and to become a better person and student. I've felt confident to bring to his teachers my concerns, and I had received unexpected positive feedbacks. But it's not only about the teachers, all the staff of this school is committed in sharing their best with everyone around, making possible to create a harmony and healthy environment. I was born abroad, so for me, it was beyond my thoughts when discover how Norcrest, as a public school, has so much to offer. In their curriculum, one can find the primary subjects as math, grammar, social science, specials like music, science, Spanish, art, p.e., etc., but also, robotics club, debate club, theatre, chorus, morning news broadcasting, and much more. They also provide after school program with a variety of activities and resources. One of the things that had most impressed me was the “Gifted and Talented Program”, for me this actually proves how much care they take in every student and their capabilities.Family activities are also part of the year program, encouraging families and school staff to meet and enjoy together, strengthening relationships in the community. My son is in 4G and he loves to be at Norcrest 100%. For sure, we will miss this community when the time to go to middle school comes.Parent Review2y ago - Tedder Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWORST SCHOOL EVER !!!!!!! My child was being bullied, they did NOTHING to help him instead they informed me to “take him back to his home school” and “I don’t listen like my child” I WILL be reporting COLLEEN ROACH, SANDRA MURILLO, GERMAINE ODOM … and lets not forget SHEZETTE BLUE-SMALL. I was disrespected and I’m HIGHLY disgusted. They will be hearing from ME and THEIR higher ups.Parent Review1y ago - Sanders Park Elementary School
