school already sucked before, now the new principal made it even worse
Posted by a student on 8/31/2026I just want to write a review for my son’s amazing teachers . I can’t say enough about their compassion and commitment. Mr Washington and Mr Denochamp. Thank you both for what you do. It is amazing the patience that you have for what you do. Teaching is definitely a calling and you are making more o
Posted by a parent on 3/10/2026The students on this school, are very toxic! And there’s always fights, but they don’t get expelled, they just get suspended and they came back for more trouble! Unacceptable
Posted by a student on 2/13/2025There are much better schools in the Broward school system to send your children. This is a toxic environment for teachers and students
Posted by a teacher on 9/4/2018I asked for assistance from Principal Earline Smiley when I moved into the area in 2000. Dr. Smiley not only briefed me on the various programs but included me on board meetings as a guest. Her help[ in familiarizing me with health needs led me to start a BanAIDS Club at ELY which is thriving and we

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis is my daughter's 2nd year of school here. i can really appreciate the involvement of the fairly new principal, Mrs. Flowers. she is a lovely lady and she is so kind to my daughter. she always sticks with her if she's having problems. same goes with other children. if there is any issue with your child such as aftercare issues, bullying issues, etc. she is always there and she treats everyone the same. her 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Sierra is a godsend as well. at the time, i was a sole income provider for my house. i couldn't afford a measly $5 for my daughter to go on a science museum trip. she wanted all the kids to attend so she wrote me a letter saying she would take care of it and she sympathizes with my situation. i really do enjoy the staff here, they are beautiful and have big hearts. they will always make sure your child is up to speed on classwork.Parent Review8y ago - Pompano Beach Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is good it offers alot of great programs dual language and amazing events for the kids holiday giveaways and raffles, just no consistency with teachers sandra murillo and a few others do not care no effort in teaching, no lessons, no tips, or tricks just video after video. Other years with other teachers my children have been great no issues but 2nd child and time with murillo and way worse every day its something and I'm not the only one.Parent Review1y ago - Sanders Park Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love this school! The teachers are so welcoming and knowledgable about the Montessori curriculum. We have seen such a huge impact on her behavior at home and her language acquisition. The check-ins on the ProCare app are also really helpful to know how different parts of the day - independent & cooperative play, meals, bathroom, etc. - are going for our toddler. The school really goes above and beyond to accommodate our needs and provide a safe and developmentally-appropriate education for our child.Parent Review1y ago - Master Minds Academy
