Soul Academy

this is my daughter's 2nd year of school here. i can really appreciate the involvement of the fairly new principal, Mrs. Flowers. she is a lovely lady and she is so kind to my daughter. she always sticks with her if she's having problems. same goes with other children. if there is any issue with your child such as aftercare issues, bullying issues, etc. she is always there and she treats everyone the same. her 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Sierra is a godsend as well. at the time, i was a sole income provider for my house. i couldn't afford a measly $5 for my daughter to go on a science museum trip. she wanted all the kids to attend so she wrote me a letter saying she would take care of it and she sympathizes with my situation. i really do enjoy the staff here, they are beautiful and have big hearts. they will always make sure your child is up to speed on classwork.

This is the worse school Ive ever seen in my life. There is a fight everyday. My daughter got bullied and pushed to the ground. Hit in the nose by a boy on the bus. I called and spoke to the Assistant principal and he just pushed me off like it was normal to have a fight everyday. Im moving my entire family just so my daughter never has to go through this again. Gym teacher letting kids watch movies that are inappropriate even after students told him. I thought your kids were supposed to be safe at school. This school is awful.

Staff is amazing, considerate and kind. They really treat you like family here.

When students feel safe and cared about, they will do their best. That's what we've found at Randazzo. The teachers here model kindness, tolerance for differences, and appreciation of individuality, and the students follow their lead. Bullying is not a problem here. The school takes a strengths-based approach to learning. Class sizes are small, and the teachers individualize the curriculum to ensure that every student is suitably challenged without being set up to fail. All types of learners are welcome. The staff here seems to truly believe in and be invested in the work that they do. The principal even makes a homemade lunch for the kids once a week. This school is a hidden gem, and we feel lucky to have found it.
