Read what parents are saying about Pensacola Private School of Liberal ArtsMy daughter attended 2016 - 2017 school year and she enjoyed to work with wonderful dedicated teachers and stuff.

Posted by a community member on 8/21/2014I am an alumna of SOLA, and I could have never believed that my high school experience would have made such a great impact on me. I attended Gulf Breeze High before transferring; the shoe just didn't fit for me. SOLA has a morning discussion which covers all topics (local and global) in hopes to educate the students. This allows them to have a voice in the classroom. The daily curriculum requires strength in reading and comprehension, and reinforces the importance of legible penmanship, lost today with the rampant use of technology. The curriculum at times is often quite extensive, comparative to a college classroom. The core classes are taught in 8 week blocks with math as the last hour of each day (practice makes perfect). SOLA strives to prepare students for the next step.... LIFE...They are funded solely by the tuition received from those enrolled, which allows the teachers to break free from the chains that bind education to standardized testing. This allows students to ask real questions and receive real answers. FINALLY, an education relieved from the vortex of politics!!! Gnothi Seauton~
Posted by a community member on 5/7/2014Best school ever! Everything I've learned, I learned at Liberal Arts. Great teachers and no political partisanship in lessons.
Posted by a community member on 4/30/2014This school offers a small learning environment where the students are taught to have their own ideas and thoughts. These individual ideas are valued by both their peers and the faculty and staff. They are learning the value of an education with the freedom to have independent thoughts. They are breeding leaders not sheep.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school leadership is fantastic. My kids were excited to go to school and learn. The PTA is active and puts on many events. There are a variety of clubs for different interests. The arts are integrated in learning, and I love how all the students get to learn and participate.Parent Review1y ago - East Hill Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a school run by a crooked politician and his entitled daughter along with a parent-run school board. Beware if you are your child offends or disagrees with a board member or their children. You will be bullied and ostracized. Not even sure why they put “Christian” in their name. Just a mediocre school with less than impressive academics.Parent Review11mo ago - Escambia Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current student, they really haven't taught me that much. They are excellent at teaching disabled kids, but gifted kids often get neglected. The teachers are too strict for my liking. We get five minutes off of lunch if we talk, and our lunch is very short. We also have to write 50 times "I will not talk in class when not appropriate and I will whisper when it is" if we talk.Student Review6mo ago - Hope Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have two children at EDS, one at the ELC and one at the lower school. Both children have grown tremendously both socially and academically at this school. The new head, Judy Shelton, is doing great things to promote science, math, and the arts, and her vision for building children of character along with the academic rigor at the school has made us incredibly happy parents.Parent Review10y ago
