Unfortunately, Chapel Trail is not the school it once was, and the decline is very noticeable under the current administration. My other child attended here years ago, and there was once a clear sense of pride, structure, professionalism, and strong leadership that feels completely absent now.The biggest concern is the administration and overall leadership. The tone set at the top feels disorganized, disconnected, and unengaged, and it impacts the entire school environment. Visits to the front office often feel unwelcoming and chaotic, and the level of professionalism expected in a school setting is not consistently demonstrated by administration.Even important school events, such as the kindergarten ceremony, reflected this lack of leadership. What should have been a meaningful and memorable milestone for families felt rushed, poorly organized, and lacking energy or enthusiasm. Administration did not provide a warm or engaging welcome, and they did not even remain after the ceremony, which added to the impression of disengagement.Overall, the school culture feels significantly different from what it once was, and it is disappointing to see the shift in leadership and organization under the current administration.

Switching from CTE to PRE has truly been a blessing for our family. Our experience with the CTE program was stressful and felt more like a nightmare than a special education support system. In contrast, the team at PRE has been absolutely wonderful. They are collaborative, communicative, and genuinely dedicated to each child’s growth.You can feel how much they care and how hard they work to create an environment where kids can thrive. We are so grateful for the difference they’ve made in our child’s happiness and development. Highly recommend!

This is my second year with 2 students at this school. It’s just okay. Very bare bones on academics and activities, plus a lot of kids that are under grade level that hold the rest of the kids back in the classroom. I do think they are doing their best, but it’s just not a great school if you have a high academic achiever or would like a decent chance for your child to really excel. I also do not find the administration to be friendly or helpful; the few times I’ve had to interact with the VP and Principal have been overall negative experiences. We will be switching to a charter school in the area and I do not recommend this school if you have another option available.

My daughter has been attending Sunset Lakes Elementary for 3 years and her experience has been amazing. The teachers and staff are loving and kind. It’s shows how much they care about each student as they they greet them by their name when they see them each morning and in the hallways. This school is a loving and fun environment for the children to learn. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful as well. I am a part of the PTSA and they truly are amazing and contribute much to helping out with the events. They have high achievers class as early as first grade to identify the high achievers and gifted children early for advanced classes. The music program is amazing- the room is filled with large variety of wonderful instruments for children to explore (violin, cellos, xylophones, triangles, guitars, ukulele, drums, drum set, piano). They have a big library with a large collection of books for children to read. Wonderful school!

Montessori Academy of Broward has been a true blessing for our family.As a mother of three children who have attended this school, I can honestly say that choosing Montessori Academy of Broward was one of the best decisions we have ever made for their education and emotional development.From the very beginning, the teachers and staff made my children feel safe, loved, and truly seen as individuals. The Montessori method allowed each of my kids to grow at their own pace, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for learning. My children didn’t just memorize information — they learned how to think, explore, and believe in themselves.What truly sets this school apart is the dedication of the teachers. They are patient, caring, and deeply committed to every child’s success. They took the time to understand my children’s strengths, challenges, and personalities, and they worked closely with us as parents to support them in the best way possible.The environment is calm, respectful, and nurturing — exactly what children need to thrive academically and emotionally. I have seen my children become more independent, responsible, and confident because of the values and structure they learned here.Montessori Academy of Broward is not just a school; it is a community that truly cares about its families.
