Unsatisfactory. The school has resources but students do not benefit as they should

I am very disappointed in this school. I thought they could do better, but they’re not the parents are not heard at all as a parent. I do not feel heard from the school or the staff every time I expressed to them how I feel they disregard it and brushed it off and think that they know my child more than me. I’m highly disappointed in the fact that I wasn’t involved in my son‘s kindergarten graduation ceremony even if there were no parents allowed you could’ve still done virtual or something not even a certificate handed to me or pictures that is very hurtful as a parent themselves they should be ashamed of themselves of how they treat us parents at the school. They have no remorse for the parents at the school. They treat us like we don’t matter and like we’re not the parents I don’t feel hurt at all from the school. They need to do better and listening to the parents and making us feel heard.

The rudness of the administration, made me doubt if students are in a positive environment.

My son just joined Maude Ives just two weeks ago me and my family moved here from Jacksonville everything was scary for him coming into a new school. The proceed to get him in the school he was zoned for was unbearable, front desk staff highly rude and disrespectful but I soon come to learn that I wasn’t the only one having issues with the front desk as I sat for a while and listened to other parents complain and the attitude they were showing towards the parents despicable. Also the teachers do not encourage or as the principal speaks in her message on their school page for your child to have an enjoyable educational experience which they fall very short of. A teacher has made beyond rude comments to my child and now I have to reach out to school boards at this point, may get a transfer to another school near by. I refuse to let my child endure this type of abuse from their teachers and staff!

My school experience as a student is great until I got to fourth grade I started feeling uncomfortable and not happy because people keep bullying me and calling me names and also I would hate when students would walk around the class during important class works and they would yell and scream and some of the teachers wouldn’t do anything about it but I would recommend this to parents that want their kids to learn a lesson and something but I wouldn’t recommend this to parents that don’t want their kids to get called names or Treated like trash

I absolutely love ECB! My children have a great time here and they really do look forward to coming to school every day. They each are performing very well in all of their classes! 10/10! Great school!
