The rudness of the administration, made me doubt if students are in a positive environment.

The so called security guard that works the south gate is a real piece of work. Lazy, and always on the phone. I have asked him several times about these cones in front of my driveway and blocking up
Posted by a community member on 10/27/2021I was a bit nervous about the school because of the mixed reviews but so far so good. The school has been extremely good. My girls are happy both teachers are super nice and they seem to be extremely organized.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son just joined Maude Ives just two weeks ago me and my family moved here from Jacksonville everything was scary for him coming into a new school. The proceed to get him in the school he was zoned for was unbearable, front desk staff highly rude and disrespectful but I soon come to learn that I wasn’t the only one having issues with the front desk as I sat for a while and listened to other parents complain and the attitude they were showing towards the parents despicable. Also the teachers do not encourage or as the principal speaks in her message on their school page for your child to have an enjoyable educational experience which they fall very short of. A teacher has made beyond rude comments to my child and now I have to reach out to school boards at this point, may get a transfer to another school near by.
