Needs overall improvement for the sake of its students

They have a real issue with student behavior. There are no real repercussions for bullying or harassment. We tell our kids to always tell the adult in charge when something happens. In lunch they will tell the security guard and the security guard will say "tell your teacher" then they go tell the teacher and they say "why didnt you tell the security guard?" If you send your child to this school make sure you ask them everyday very specific questions as to what happened. You will find out a lot.

I'm not happy with this school this year. The majority of the teachers seemed to be under a lot of pressure and only put their efforts in testing. It's was completely disorganized from the beginning, students were behind in their work. Teachers were being pulled to different grades when the school year had already started! That is horrible administration. Homework did not even correlate with what was being taught in class. I'm spending my summer catching my son up for next year. If it wasn't because I know who his teachers will be next year, I would not keep him in this school. Very disappointed with the spanish class as well. They barely get the class during the year and there is no HW to practice unless the child was placed in the EFL program. The afterschool club activities are not so appealing. They can barely open these clubs because no one enrolls. Music is given so early, it doesn't give a chance for others who can't make it at 7:30am an opportunity to learn an instrument. The office staff and administration are friendly. But administration didn't seem to have good control of this year. I hope they step it up because the school has a lot of potential and a lot of parent support. I'm praying this year will be a lot different, if not I don't see my son finishing in this school.

My daughter loves to study there! Her teacher is sweet.. She is very happy there!

For seven years our daughter has attended Christ Fellowship Academy in Palmetto Bay, Fl. She has been provided a well-rounded education in a Christ-centered environment. The campus is welcoming, safe and feels like home. Exceptional administrators, professional, passionate teachers and staff. Everyone goes above and beyond. Amazing parent involvement. It is a blessing to be part of the CFA family! I highly recommend Christ Fellowship Academy.

Parents pls stay away from registering your kids in HRSR. Tuition is not the cheapest and they still charge you for everything else. Pizza parties $6 per student, casual dress day $5, in school field trips(yes in school) $10. Mind you with all the tuitions, grants HRSR gets is still not enough to renovate any bathrooms, auditorium/ etc they are still as they were is the 70’s when the school was built. They love to mark you tardy if 1 minute late but make you wait sometimes up to 20-30 minutes after pick up time to get your kids. Events get cancelled rescheduled then cancelled again over and over it’s a disaster. Security is good and teachers are nice. But it does not justify paying for everything as a parent.
