9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey have a real issue with student behavior. There are no real repercussions for bullying or harassment. We tell our kids to always tell the adult in charge when something happens. In lunch they will tell the security guard and the security guard will say "tell your teacher" then they go tell the teacher and they say "why didnt you tell the security guard?" NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageParents pls stay away from registering your kids in HRSR. Tuition is not the cheapest and they still charge you for everything else. Pizza parties $6 per student, casual dress day $5, in school field trips(yes in school) $10. Mind you with all the tuitions, grants HRSR gets is still not enough to renovate any bathrooms, auditorium/ etc they are still as they were is the 70’s when the school was built. They love to mark you tardy if 1 minute late but make you wait sometimes up to 20-30 minutes after pick up time to get your kids. Events get cancelled rescheduled then cancelled again over and over it’s a disaster. Security is good and teachers are nice. The approachable, strong, and reliable leadership fosters a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that permeates the entire school. My child is thriving under the guidance of a talented, creative, passionate, and loving teacher who make learning an absolute joy. Every week brings special decorations and engaging activities and my son is genuinely excited to go to school each day! The small size (just 50 children total, with an intimate class of 5 in kindergarten for example) creates a warm, family-like atmosphere where every child feels seen and valued. We also appreciate the amazing and low-maintenance PTO, the cozy and well-equipped facilities (playground and classrooms), daily PE, and the welcome absence of excessive homework.
