Howard Drive Elementary is an outstanding school with a caring and dedicated staff that truly puts students first. The teachers and administration work hard to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to succeed.The school offers strong academic programs, wonderful extracurricular activities, and meaningful opportunities for students to grow socially and emotionally. Communication with families is excellent, and the sense of community throughout the school is truly special.Howard Drive Elementary goes above and beyond to celebrate student achievements and foster a positive school culture. They have a real issue with student behavior. There are no real repercussions for bullying or harassment. We tell our kids to always tell the adult in charge when something happens. In lunch they will tell the security guard and the security guard will say "tell your teacher" then they go tell the teacher and they say "why didnt you tell the security guard?" If you send your child to this school make sure you ask them everyday very specific questions as to what happened. You will find out a lot.

For seven years our daughter has attended Christ Fellowship Academy in Palmetto Bay, Fl. She has been provided a well-rounded education in a Christ-centered environment. The campus is welcoming, safe and feels like home. Exceptional administrators, professional, passionate teachers and staff. Everyone goes above and beyond. Amazing parent involvement. It is a blessing to be part of the CFA family! I highly recommend Christ Fellowship Academy.

Very poor communication. My child had a vision problem that went unnoticed by the school until. When I brought it to their attention they were unaware my child was struggling. The teacher / student ratio exceeds 1:10 as listed. Additionally, there are several students with severe behavior problems - my child has been hit, cursed at and bullied with no intervention from administration.

After a terrible experience in Coral Reef Elementary School, our experience at Village Pines has been truly exceptional. The approachable, strong, and reliable leadership fosters a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that permeates the entire school. My child is thriving under the guidance of a talented, creative, passionate, and loving teacher who make learning an absolute joy. Every week brings special decorations and engaging activities and my son is genuinely excited to go to school each day! The small size (just 50 children total, with an intimate class of 5 in kindergarten for example) creates a warm, family-like atmosphere where every child feels seen and valued. We also appreciate the amazing and low-maintenance PTO, the cozy and well-equipped facilities (playground and classrooms), daily PE, and the welcome absence of excessive homework. If you're looking for a nurturing and enriching educational experience, look no further than Village Pines.

I am completely saddened to write a negative review of the school. My child has been there since prek and is graduating this year. The school is beautiful and the teachers (at least most of them) are amazing. I feel that the school tries to be a Christian school, however, many of the families are not. The main focus seems to be about sports and performing/visual arts. Many of the families/students are affluent and thus seem quite entitled. My child felt bullied and rejected all throughout high school and part of middle school. Most of the HS students are into partying and other unGodly behavior. My child cannot wait to leave HS and start a better life in college.
