Riverbend Academy

My kids have been at the school for over five years now, and they thrive. We were originally zoned for somewhere else and I got a variance to go here because I was so impressed with the atmosphere and overall community of the school. There is some kids that are not the best, but I think you’re gonna find that anywhere. There’s always a couple that makes things harder for other students but overall it’s positive children with understanding parents. I drive very far into the school every day even though the school next to me has technically a higher grade because I know it’s worth it for my children to be here.

Such a great school! Great faculty that truly cares about the children.

Negative. We are so happy we moved. Since moving into a new school my kids are thriving. They are happy and have advanced so much. The teachers are actively engaged and are in touch with us.

We had two kid’s go to this school and within the first week of school they told our family that we should pick them up early because they apparently don’t do academics in the afternoon time, so there’s no need for them to be there, because they couldn’t sit still and got into this. This is supposed to be a school for kid’s with special needs… yet you want to make them leave early? My family pulled them out and homeschooled the rest of the year. Makes me think they just take the step up scholarship and use it for other things. It took forever for my family to get that money back.
