Common core has decidedly 'lowered the standards' as has the current principal. USED to be a great school. Now I wouldn't send a puppy there for training! The guidance counsellor is a horrible example

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former students of this school and I cannot stress enough to NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. This school on the outside looks very well qualified to teach and professional. However, this is not the case. The teachers here are extremely strict, give an absurd amount of work without care or even thinking of other classes, and are honestly only there to collect a pay check. The students there are all trashy, and is nothing how it looks from the outside. There's students taking drugs in the bathroom, or in plain sight. If you want your child to have an actual education send them to some other school like TERRA Environmental Research Institute, or Coral Reef High School. My career requires me to travel and often impromptu meetings etc. but the staff and team always works with me and are very responsive as well as supportive.
