Read what parents are saying about Central Florida Christian AcademyMy experience with the school is amazing I had another Christian school experiences and public schools experiences. The christian environment is the best, it's not perfect but it's for sure a place to experience spiritual formation. I hope my daughters can be there until graduation.
Posted by a community member on 6/2/2023The end of next month will mark the completion of our 3rd year at CFCA ...My son will definitely be returning for a 4th school year (with intentions to stay all the way through 12th grade) !! The teachers and staff are all professional ,friendly and geniunely seem to love my son !! Their focus and goal is clear to me - They want each child to grow and excel academically ,morally and in their faith . In alot of ways , this (affordable)Christian Private school has been the answer to our prayers . I highly recommend CFCA to all parents !!
Posted by a parent on 4/4/2023This review is based on the administration and leadership of the school and not the teachers. From day one, every process from registering, extended care, extracurricular, and food choices has been a nightmare. Half the time you are met with a condescending response. Since it appears that most employees have worked in a dysfunctional mess for years if not decades, they assume everyone works that way and appear to be proud of it. I am in disbelief that I am actually paying 10k a year to constantly be disappointed.
Posted by a parent on 9/16/2022Both my children have been there since k4. Great school! I love that bible Is required not like most Christian schools in the area. The staff is always helpful.
Posted by a parent on 9/13/2022This is the WORST SCHOOL EVERRRRR..... Very unprofessional, very rude. After my daughter had been accepted, her spot was taken away without any valid justification. So much for a Christian community. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE.... I was so surprised for the treatment my family received from the SO CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD.... Very mean people......

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWould not recommend this school, too many safety concerns the children are not properly monitored and the school has dropped the ball several times with incidences with my children, sad to say it's only the second full week of school and I had to emergently transfer my children. The principle talks a good game, but she is very displeasing to deal with among several other staff members. unfortunately, due to zoning restrictions many children will have to attend this school that severely needs reform and restructure.Parent Review7mo ago - Oak Hill Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who have attended this school for the past two years. What makes this school so great is the diversity and integrity of the students and community that are involved as well as the passion and perseverance of the staff and administration. Principal Cicely Marks has done an excellent job!Parent Review1y ago - Metrowest Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome staff members are disrespectful. As a parent, I let all the staff members critique my child in a meeting, I made sure all staff members had chance to talk. When it was my turn to talk, I kept getting cutt off by staff members and assistant principal. Sorry, I will not tolerate that from a child to an adult. My favorite quote from the assistant principal, and I paraphrase, "This is a public school". I would not want him working for my company and excuses. His is 100% right, hopefully, I can find a private school with better staff members. Someone should have a sit down talk with him about his choice of words.Parent Review2y ago - West Oaks Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTried to pick my child up early and was told no and to wait 5 mins until the regular dismissal time. They dismiss the children at separate times. The experience was frustrating because I needed to get my child right then and there. I didn't have time to wait. Ended up being late to my engagementParent Review11mo ago - Citrus Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI refuse to tolerate the substandard food at this school or the biased way they handle disciplinary issues. It is unacceptable that they mistreat our children like this. I urge you to find another elementary school as this one provides a terrible experience.Parent Review6mo ago - Central Florida Preparatory School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst experience & was locked in a contract. No face-to-face with teachers allowed, no phones either-must email only and wait for a possible reply. My child hated going. A couple of teachers were great, but they don't stay. Had teachers that don't care about the kids (one refused to even speak to my child the entire year). Example: My kid always had A's on all exams but made a 68 once & the teacher didn't even bother to find out "why?" My child was threatened personally by one of the administrators. They refused to work with my child's disability but instead repeatedly penalized without consideration. Safety was fine except for punishments they inflicted (mostly via grading). There also isn't any medically experienced personnel on site. The school strongly discourages family engagement. Good luck ever getting past their front counter or speaking to a teacher. If you are a parent that likes to be involved, likes to establish rapport with teachers/faculty, or would like your child to feel supported by school personnel - look elsewhere. You will not find any of those things here. They seem to be all about $$$ Do not believe their website. I almost sued for breach of contract based on what is presented. (The only positive reviews I found were actually left by their own faculty.)Parent Review8mo ago - Premier Academy
