As the year wraps up, I look back on my experience with Veterans Memorial Elementary (VME) and wish we had started here sooner! My son is in 5th grade, and this was his first year at the school. From day one, the staff and students made him feel right at home. The sense of community is incredible; the kids are so welcoming that he never felt like the 'new kid.'We’ve seen a complete turnaround in his emotional health and confidence. Beyond that, the communication from the staff is excellent—they truly partner with parents. Most importantly, his test scores have improved significantly because he finally feels supported and motivated. We couldn't be happier with our decision to join the VME family!

ENCA has bee great for all of my children. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My children have done both VPK and wrap around care for several years now and I love the school. The instructors are always communicative and helpful if I have questions or concerns. The leadership staff has always been open and willing to help with any questions or concerns I have. I would recommend this school to anyone!

The school does not value academic success. They are way too easy on the students, especially in middle school. They have a no homework policy which harms the students and prevents them from learning. The academic rigor and encouragement to push students to work and learn is not there. A majority of the students do not value hard work or education. I would send your child elsewhere, especially for middle school. There a few teachers who are really good and value learning and want to teach students how to work and learn, but the administration does not seem to value that. Also, the field trips are very expensive. They cater to a certain crowd.

We felt unfairly "pushed out" of this school. Called very early in the year for vpk. 6 months in advance and was told to early. Called again at 3 months early same response. I expressed my concerns for him getting in on time. Was reassured It was to early and to call back. Finally calling a month in advance I was told someone would call me back.. Never got a call. I called again was told there were no more spots available. !!?

This school was great for PreK with Ms. Wendy. (Who is no longer there)Then real school started and having K-2 in one room with 17 boys and 10 girls made for a stressful school year with lots of bullying and things parents were not informed of till the very end of the year. They charge for every little thing and still don’t have enough to actually fix up the school facilities. Playing and sitting in dirt for a “playground”. I could go on but you get the picture. I would never recommend. Save your wallet and your child’s mental health and stay away!
