Extremely attentive teachers. Mrs. Berry and Mrs Hassan are the superstars. Very organized, responsive and supportive staff, from the principal, teachers to entry personnel. Only complaint is for the cafeteria lady (Ms. Cadet) but I won’t let this bad experience ruin my experience with this school. Keep up the great work Mrs. Dorsett.

Is the worst there are lots of bullies and all teachers want to know is drama they never care

If I could give zero stars, I would. This school taught me more about favoritism, poor communication, and unprofessionalism than it ever did about actual education. The way certain staff members treat students is honestly embarrassing — unless you’re a teacher’s favorite, don’t expect support, fairness, or even basic respect.They care more about their image than the students who actually walk through the doors every day. Mental health? Ignored. Concerns? Brushed off. And if you ever dare to speak up — suddenly you’re the problem.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Do better.This school is completely unacceptable. My neighbor’s child, who is in special education, came home with a large bruise on his back — and no one gave any answers. That should NEVER happen under any school’s care. If they can’t protect their most vulnerable students, they don’t deserve to be trusted. Shameful

Teachers are hands on and working with parents to help with the kids. Teachers care about the children's future and making sure they are understanding what is being taught. Grateful for everyone.and My experience at this school north county K-8 center is amazing. love coming to school because of my amazing teachers, staff members and friends.

The staff and administrators really care about children at Dr. FSW/Skyway Elementary School. It shows through the student activities and programs presented to the community!

My son attended Tanglewood since he was an infant in 2017 and still attends in aftercare. He has consistently loved Tanglewood and to this day, never wants to go home when I pick him up. Most of the staff have been at the school since he started. If you're looking for low child to teacher ratios and a family-like environment, this is the school! Highly recommend!

It is so sad that I have to give a review of this school because I did like about 2.5 of the staff members there. This school has potential if the administration gets a do-over or retrained. I am not sure if people are just broken or tired since this pandemic but this school is just chaotic. Yes, it starts at home so to any parents who have children in this school you should be ashamed of yourselves for raising children who don't understand the consequences and act like behaving and having empathy for others is so foreign. The teachers didn't make it any better by the passive-aggressive approach to disciplining children instead of setting standards and structure. You hear kids cursing and bullying and yet you turn the other way. Comments like "I can't turn water into wine and "I don't care if you don't" approach to teaching is the equivalent to I'm just here for a paycheck. You too as educators should be ashamed to talk in such ways. Get it together! Biggest regret (and I usually have no regrets) was choosing this school for my daughter who was bullied and funny how it's like she is to blame for why she was bullied. You even made the biggest bully of 6th grade the class president. How convenient! Good luck! If you have a sweet kid who isn't into rowdiness and actually wants to learn in a safe and peaceful environment with structure go somewhere else. Don't be fooled by the religious aspect because there has been no such thing as unity or Godly guided from our experience. Again Good luck!!
