Dolphin Bay Elementary School

Switching from CTE to PRE has truly been a blessing for our family. Our experience with the CTE program was stressful and felt more like a nightmare than a special education support system. In contrast, the team at PRE has been absolutely wonderful. They are collaborative, communicative, and genuinely dedicated to each child’s growth. You can feel how much they care and how hard they work to create an environment where kids can thrive. We are so grateful for the difference they’ve made in our child’s happiness and development. Highly recommend!

Coconut palm has helped my son and daughter improve their reading and math skills within a year! The administrators and teachers always have a positive attitude and know ALL of the students by their first names! I would recommend this school to everyone

This school is wonderful school. My 4 kids went there and they were so happy. Great academic and teachers fantastic… great principal…

My daughter has been attending Sunset Lakes Elementary for 3 years and her experience has been amazing. The teachers and staff are loving and kind. It’s shows how much they care about each student as they they greet them by their name when they see them each morning and in the hallways. This school is a loving and fun environment for the children to learn. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful as well. I am a part of the PTSA and they truly are amazing and contribute much to helping out with the events. They have high achievers class as early as first grade to identify the high achievers and gifted children early for advanced classes. The music program is amazing- the room is filled with large variety of wonderful instruments for children to explore (violin, cellos, xylophones, triangles, guitars, ukulele, drums, drum set, piano). They have a big library with a large collection of books for children to read. Wonderful school!

I used to love this school and, prior to this year, I would have confidently rated it five stars. However, since the recent name change and the transition to a K–8 model, the overall experience has noticeably declined. There appears to be favoritism toward certain PTA families and their children, which has been disappointing to witness. Additionally, the academic curriculum feels inconsistent and lacks clarity. At times, it’s unclear whether there is a structured plan in place, and that raises concerns about whether students are being properly prepared for future success.I truly hope the administration takes steps to address these issues and refocus on providing a fair, structured, and high-quality learning environment for all students.

Love this school! As a parent you feel heard and appreciated, when emailing/calling them with questions or suggestions they really do listen. Because it’s a smaller school your kids are much more protected, they greet each kid with warmth every morning. my son loves going to school something previously was not the case and I truly believe my son has excel academically due to their nurturing environment.
