Posted by a student on 7/23/2021Teachers are rude. Very disrespectful to students and parents. We moved from a different state and I thought they would help my daughter adjust better than what they did. My daughter came home crying everyday because she said her teacher was mean. We didn't have this problem at her other school she loved it and looked forward to going. My take on the teacher was she was nasty and rude and needed to learn how to speak to the students she worked with on a daily basis. So me and my husband decided to withdraw her and get her into homeschool and she likes itBut she rather be in school. I don't like the fact that my daughter would come home crying and upset everyday. Teachers are the main problem as I can see. No wonder the ratings are so low. Never again will she attend this school it sucks
Posted by a parent on 9/27/2015The staff is rude and unprofessional, from the office staff to the outdoor staff. I would of never put my kids in that school if I would of known they were so malicious and unkind for no valid reasons. If they have no shame to treat adults this way I don't want to imagine how they treat my kids in school without my presence.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo after school support for my daughter. Or any other kind of academic support. And with this COVID-19 problem, there is even less availability from the teachers (until 12 noon even by phone!) I have to say, the average teacher salary of $50, 000 a year or more is grossly inflated for the meager work they do!Parent Review3y ago - Sunshine Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school my kids have ever attended. Don’t send your kids here! Hoping they shut down this school..the principal and teachers aren’t the best here and it’s sad to see so many kids having issues at this school but yet the school does nothing.Other Review10mo ago - Pembroke Pines Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePembroke Pines Elementary is such a family oriented school. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Ms. Bell is the most amazing principal I have ever met! She has such a SERVANT heart and LOVE for kids. She bends down and treats the kids like they’re the most precious gifts in the world. The staff is always smiling and saying good morning. It feels like a Disney World experience dropping off my child in the morning. The teachers place a high emphasis on the students excelling. My child is attending in-person this year and comes home everyday with nothing but great things to say about his teacher, music teacher, art teacher, and PE teacher. Thank you, Pembroke Pines, for such an amazing start to a new school year.Parent Review2y ago - Fairway Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is so sad that I have to give a review of this school because I did like about 2.5 of the staff members there. This school has potential if the administration gets a do-over or retrained. I am not sure if people are just broken or tired since this pandemic but this school is just chaotic. Yes, it starts at home so to any parents who have children in this school you should be ashamed of yourselves for raising children who don't understand the consequences and act like behaving and having empathy for others is so foreign. The teachers didn't make it any better by the passive-aggressive approach to disciplining children instead of setting standards and structure. You hear kids cursing and bullying and yet you turn the other way. Comments like "I can't turn water into wine and "I don't care if you don't" approach to teaching is the equivalent to I'm just here for a paycheck. You too as educators should be ashamed to talk in such ways. Get it together! Biggest regret (and I usually have no regrets) was choosing this school for my daughter who was bullied and funny how it's like she is to blame for why she was bullied. You even made the biggest bully of 6th grade the class president. How convenient! Good luck! If you have a sweet kid who isn't into rowdiness and actually wants to learn in a safe and peaceful environment with structure go somewhere else. Don't be fooled by the religious aspect because there has been no such thing as unity or Godly guided from our experience. Again Good luck!!Parent Review2y ago
