Tiny Steps Daycare Learning Center

I have to mention one teacher has stood out in one of my daugthers academic experience. Mrs. Fleites - her first grade teacher. This teacher pushed my daughter out of shyness and has given her a love for school.. This wonderful teacher has motivated her to go above and beyond. We definitely recommend this school. My daughter is now going to 4th grade and still misses this school. We moved and had to transfer to another school.

The teachers at this school go above and beyond. They really care about their students and it shows. The communication between teachers, parents and the administration is really what creates that family feeling and makes me feel good about sending our child here.

Mi primera hija empezó en el 2015 y desde ese año an pasado mis hijos,siempre que e necesitado me an ayudado en todo lo que esta en su alcance,de las maestras siempre al pendiente y cariñosas,eh tenido maestras repetidas y nuevas y siempre están en comunicación,recomiendo esta escuela al 100 %

We moved to this neighborhood specifically for this school, and it has absolutely lived up to our expectations. The teachers are truly outstanding, caring, dedicated, and deeply invested in each child’s success. They go above and beyond to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. The PTA is also incredibly active and welcoming, which really helps build a strong sense of community among families. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved, and it makes a noticeable difference in the overall school experience. Our only wish is that the school be extended through 8th grade, as we would love for our son to continue here longer. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our decision. It’s a fantastic school with a warm, supportive community.

So the experience so far has been adequate for what you pay for which is saying something as this is a public school, so I only pay for the afterschool program. My only concern is that my son was diagnosed with ADHD and trying to get his IEP has been an absolute nightmare. For 1 year the school did not have a guidance counselor and we had started the process back at the end of 2024-2025 school year. We have just completed 2025-2026 and I'm still waiting for someone on his case to contact me to actually set up his IEP. This part is out of the school's hands but they also didn't deliver communication or the right support at the time. The communication between school and parent is not good. It not the worst but also not great. I don't know how else to describe it. Obviously, it's a government entity that is overworked and underpaid (that we know as a fact). However, the charter schools in Miami area get the part of that funding and now deliver private school results. The problem is that we need to also fund the public schools and though the teachers and principle are doing all the can, they are also at the mercy of the current administration, and budget and the results are that this school was an "A" when he started and has since dropped to a "B". And it shows....My son however likes his school and so I'm at a lost of what to do moving forward.
