Sunset Christian Academy

My son was struggling so we moved him over to Blue Lakes. We have had a great experience! The principal is excellent and very involved. Some of the bad reviews are from a previous principal. The current principle is out there greeting the parents everyday and knows each kid by name. When my kid was struggling with emotional breakdowns during COVID, the school reacted immediately. They put his mental health first and he is doing great! I have had children in general education, ese classes, and gifted. I recommend all!

Snapper Creek is a hidden gem. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The students and families at Snapper Creek make working here a blessing. The teachers and staff are dedicated to the students and families at Snapper Creek.

I cannot say enough about Sunset Park Elementary. Both my children attended this school. My eldest is now in a Magnet High School taking all AP classes and my youngest is currently in Sunset Park's Gifted Program. The teachers are caring & excellent educators with years of experience. Administration is top notch & always available. The campus is located in a residential neighborhood with tons of green spaces. We're lucky to have had our kids attend Sunset Park Elementary.

Gateway is a small private school with a very small-minded attitude towards the children and the parents. If you are someone that donates above and beyond the school fees, they will treat your child like Prince Charming. If you are not a church member or donor, then your child will be treated like he is in the witness protection program, and will only get whatever the basics are. I was very disappointed with this school, and our child still remembers it as the worst school that he has ever attended. If any of the teachers know your name, it will be a miracle.

This school is terrible. My children always say their math teachers is always yelling at them and bullies them. This makes my daughter have a negative impact on her mental heath and I think they should take quick action.Also , the take away recess for children who don’t behave. Recess is meant to have fun and as a therapist this is unbelievable. If children keeep having recess off this can be sued. Lasly, the school administrators favorite students and parents with popularity and financial income. Don’t put your child here.

I just started in January and I am so impressed with how caring and nurturing the environment is for the children. I am so glad I chose to enroll my baby at Smart Starts. The infant and toddler teachers are great!I can not even explain how much better my day goes knowing that my baby is in good hands. I would recommend you visit and tour the school so that you can see it for yourself.
