Read what parents are saying about Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Elementary SchoolMy son started Pre-K3 at OLOL and we could not be happier! My husband and I were in between schools, and we were blown away starting with the school tour that Mrs. Del Campo gave to us. It was an easy decision after that. Since then, we have been so happy with Ms. Menendez and Mrs. Madi. My son gets home super happy from school and looks forward to going everyday. I could not recommend this school enough! It has truly been a great experience.
Posted by a parent on 9/8/2023Excellent School with Dedicated Staff - Highly Recommended!I am writing this review to express my utmost satisfaction with Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School. Both of my children, a fifth-grade daughter and a sixth-grade son enrolled in advanced mathematics, attend this excellent school, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we enrolled, we were impressed by the professionalism and experience of the school's director, Mr. Halfaker, and Assistant Principal Mrs. Cabrera. They have demonstrated a genuine dedication to providing a nurturing and academically rigorous environment for all students.I want to specifically highlight the incredible teachers who have positively impacted my children's education. Ms. Houston, my son's teacher, has been phenomenal in fostering his love for learning and encouraging his academic growth. Her enthusiasm and dedication are evident in the way she engages students and creates a supportive classroom environment. Additionally, Mrs. Rodriguez, the advanced mathematics teacher, has been instrumental in challenging my son and nurturing his passion for math. Her expertise and commitment to excellence are truly commendable. In my humble opinion, all the teachers at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School are deserving of an A+ rating. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure that every student receives a quality education. They not only teach the curriculum but also instill important values of kindness, respect, and integrity. The school facilities are well-maintained and provide a conducive learning environment. The administration and staff are always available and approachable, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns promptly.I highly recommend Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School to any parent seeking a faith-based education for their children. The commitment to academic excellence, coupled with the caring and dedicated staff, sets this school apart. My children have thrived academically and socially, and I am grateful for the positive impact the school has had on their lives. In conclusion, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School is an outstanding educational institution that truly prioritizes the holistic development of its students. The combination of experienced leadership, exceptional teachers, and a nurturing environment makes it an A+ school in my book!
Posted by a parent on 5/18/2023My daughter Isabella has been attending school at Our Lady of Lourdes since PK-3, and she is now in 3rd grade; we have nothing but positive things to say about the school, starting with the fantastic teachers, office staff, and the best principal a school could ever wish for. Thank you for teaching our little one and always going above and beyond.

Posted by a parent on 9/9/2022My daughter started OLOL in PK3 and has just completed her 8th grade year. What an amazing experience our family has had. All the staff, from the janitor to the principal are incredibly loving and supportive. It really is a unique place, centered in Christ. Without hesitation I recommend this school/family to anyone who's thinking about it. It truly doesn't get better than this!

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI gave two stars because the teachers deserve some credit. The vice principal seems more invested in the actual principal. The principal is very unprofessional and extremely rude. Lots of people question how she is able to hold her position. Hot mess express. Should be replaced.Parent Review6mo ago - Calusa Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe saying Everything that shines isn’t gold is true for this school. Very enthusiasticly I enrolled my child in this school as an out of area transfer for kindergarten after reading all the positive reviews and scores as well as activities the school had to offer, for me at the time I felt it was the perfect choice for my son, from all the schools that were relatively near our home. Unfortunately our experience was not what we would have expected from a top rated school. After experiencing a school year here I witnessed that what makes this school top rated is not it’s teachers and much less there unprofessional administrators but the parental community and it’s involvement in there childrens education. The teachers lack professionalism and show favoritism to students, to an extent were others can notice. Due to On going issues with our sons teacher we went to seek support from administrators and counselors only to have our calls and visits ignored and our problems unsolved. The principle, vice principle and counselor ignored our emails and requests to meet and discuss the ongoing issues with their staff. Untimely since our son was an out of area transfer they elected with no prior notice to not renew his stay at the school. When I went to speak with them in person they were very rude unprofessional and vague about the decision they had made. The principal apparently the one who makes these choices didn’t even give me the time of day to discuss the concern at hand, they didn’t care that was the attitude the assistant principle projected as we spoke about the issue, they didn’t care to hear about my child’s needs or how they could assist all she would say is he has to go back to his home school without a care in the world from her part. I went back the next day to formally withdraw my son as advised by his new school, the assistant principal again with her rude attitude asks me “didn’t I speak with you about this already” without even asking the reason I was there, I wasn’t there to speak with her I was there to withdraw my child. Overall the experience at Cálusa elementary left us with a very sour feeling in our mouths the whole school was full of issues with staff and lack of support and empathy form administrationParent Review1y ago - Claude Pepper Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have both my children in Claude Pepper. My son started in Kindergarten in 2017 and will be finishing 5th grade this year, and my daughter has been in Claude Pepper since PRE-K and will be going to 4th grade next year. I have nothing but love for this school. From their amazing teachers year after year and the wonderful administration, I have NO complaints. The communication with parents is excellent and you will always be well informed with events for the students and parent involvement. I'm so happy that my children are enrolled here, truly feels like a second home.Parent Review1y ago - Montessori Childrens House

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended MCH from Jan 2020 until schools were forced to close in March 2020. While I had some issues with communication between the teachers and myself, I knew that my son was enjoying the social interactions that being in school provided. What followed after the shutdown was truly a disappointment.Remote learning for my sons class consisted of 2-3 unoriginal content videos a week and one 15 minute zoom session with his class that often seemed unplanned and frenzied. While I’m sympathetic to the radical changes teachers were forced to make, to say the process was poorly executed is an understatement. In conversations with other moms I had become well aware of how other schools were handling the situation, including tuition costs and curriculum. MCH really failed us in many ways. When my husband and I reached out to try and come to an agreement on what we could pay for the remaining months that would be reasonable for both parties we were expressing told that full payment would be expected with no exceptions. The entire situation was made worse when they began ignoring our emails, phone calls and even visits to the school. This school functions coldly and with little actual regard for the families writing the checks.Parent Review3y ago - The Children's House

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been in this school since Kindergarten and we could not be happier with the education she has received. The teachers are genuinely interested in my child's academic progress and development. I drop off my child every morning knowing she is in a safe and nurturing environment. I would however like to see the owner of the school invest some money in installing fans in the outside lunch areas and to expand the activities center in the back of school to accommodate more people during school events and activities. I would also like to see more art history being taught during art classes. Overall, I am extremely happy with the school, teachers, and administration. We just love it!Parent Review10y ago - Happy Memories Learning Center Corporation
