9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was there from kinder all the way thru 5th grade. We went thru 2 principals & various teachers. Overall a good experience with the exception of the PE teacher Ms. Wilson who teaches as if it was boot camp. She doesn't think that not every kid is athletic nor that is an elementary school without any sports. It's merely physical education. In 6 years, I had to talk to the principal at the time regarding the way that she carries out the class.Parent Review6y ago15 Reviews - Leewood K-8 Center

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of multiple students at Leewood for over 10 years, I have always appreciated our school. Unfortunately, I've noticed a rapid decline in its quality. The staff seems to be doing the bare minimum, and it no longer meets the standards set by other schools. We believe that a supportive environment with friendly staff who genuinely care about parents' feedback is essential for our children's education. With many educational options available, we have decided to leave this year in search of a new school that offers better support and attentive staff.Parent Review1y ago49 Reviews - Frank Crawford Martin K-8 Center

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with Frank C. Martin began back in 1976 before it became a magnet school. I must say it has been a wonderful experience throughout the years. My children attended Frank C. Martin. My grandchildren attended also my great grandchildren. My opinion has been and still is : it a great educational institutions for the children that attend.Parent Review4y ago25 Reviews - Devon Aire K-8 Center

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is great for special needs children. The social-emotional support along with the new principal's effort to engage families to attend the school is great. The art and music teacher are amazing. I cannot say the same about the elementary PE teacher or spanish teacher. My child felt targeted by the PE teacher. She doesn't show them any effective ways to get better at physical education. The spanish teacher literally gets to teach them from 1st to 5th grade, and my child did NOT learn anything. The spanish teacher needs to go!Parent Review5mo ago21 Reviews - William H. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am quite frankly very unsatisfied with this school. The one good thing about this school is that it's very strong academically, but that's all they care about. My child is a very strong academic student but ended up hating this school because of the stress with constant testing and excessive homework. I also felt like the teachers and administration did not want to talk to parents that much. I had struggled with communicating with my child's teachers multiple times and it was incredibly frustrating. They also don't have recess every day which came as a shock to me because when I was in elementary school, I had recess every day. Young kids NEED unstructured play time during the school day. I pulled my child out of this school because all this school did was destroy my child's desire for learning.Parent Review1mo ago19 Reviews - St. John Neumann School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe worst school I have attended to so far. So bad, I had to switch year due to the blatant bullying, not by the students but by the teachers. I was in a horrible mental state, and instead of the school practicing what they preach (to love students) they said I was committing sins. All the teachers have superiority complex. They abuse their power and punish you like an adult, although your brain is still developing. DO NOT GO HERE! After I switched I was happy and thriving.Other Review3mo ago37 Reviews - For Kids Sake Academy
