I enjoy visiting this school and seeing all of the learning that takes place each day.
Posted by a principal on 11/3/2020My son will be leaving Harns Marsh Middle School in May headed to the IB STEM program. He is an honor student at HMM and has already completed 9th grade Algebra and is working on 10th Grade Geometry. His teachers are dedicated, articulate and have been willing to create additional learning opportunities to challenge him. The principals are constantly enhancing the learning experience by raising standards & attracting and retaining amazing teachers! We moved to Gateway from Martha’s Vineyard MA and we has been thrilled with this school.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis place is terrible. Most of the teachers there are genuinely mentally abusive. Let me tell you, they don't stop when you ask them to. They'll listen to rumors, and then ask the students endlessly to tell them the "truth" when all it is is a rumor, and if they find out it was just a rumor, they'll call the student they interrogated a liar. They'll make a big deal out of little things, and vice versa. I'm sick of this place. I'm sick of thinking about it and hearing about it, I'm just sick and tired of the place. Gunnery, get it together. And, for those of you who have younger children attending the school, once they hit middle and high school, life's gonna start sucking, because their are gonna be opened to how terrible the people there really are.
