Pleasantly surprised by the teaching methods and leadership of this school. Children are taught many valuable life-lessons, along with standard classroom instruction. They are expected to have respect for themselves and for each other, as well as for the teachers and staff. They are rewarded for good behavior, which in turn, motivates them to continue to behave well. I was also surprised that all the children ("low income" or not) are offered breakfast and lunch for free, as well as free school supplies. Considering that this is not the case in all schools, it was an added plus. It was nice to see our tax money put to good use. My daughter also received some very nice gifts from generous benefactors. My child enjoyed her first full school year in kindergarten , thanks to a wonderful and caring teacher and staff. Looking forward to the next school year!
