Read what parents are saying about Oak Hall Lower SchoolIt is a very welcoming and friendly environment for my kid who does not know English yet. The teacher and staff are so responsive and make it possible for families to get involved. So far, my kid loves it.

Posted by a parent on 11/10/2020This is our second year at Oak Hall for our oldest child, and we are SO happy compared to past schools he attended. He is the happiest he's ever been, and just thriving in all areas! My son has mild sensory issues and his teacher was so caring and accomadating--you can tell the teachers here really want to see each individual child succeed. My child is the happiest he's ever been and LOVES his school! I am impressed with the amazing amount of hands-on learning and thorough curriculum, along with the emphasis on character development. Teachers and administration always greet you with a smile and seem genuinely happy to be there. Lots of amazing opportunities and extracurriculars too. Just visit during school hours and you will see what I mean. This school has been a blessing for our family and I am very happy we chose it. :)

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school prepares its students very well. My daughter struggled to read in a different school district, and within a month, she was fluent. Teachers are caring, and everyone knows the kids. There is a teacher who knows all the names of the parents picking up their kids. The coaches are extremely caring too. Very nice experience! Keep doing a great job, owls.Parent Review1mo ago - Lawton M. Chiles Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former alumnus of The Rock School, I am writing this review. I went here for about two years and I have to say, I learned quite a lot from most of my classes and teachers. Most of my teachers were very passionate about their job and cared a lot about the student's opinions and voices. But, in my 8th-grade year I was very angered and frustrated to have not one- but three different math teachers in one school year, one of them barely teaching us. While most of the students were kind, some students were unwelcoming and rude. I felt very alone and uncomfortable at this school and that I was being judged by everyone around me. As I Christian school, I expected more out of the students. I do love the unique teaching style each teacher has and the way they find a way to include God, but sometimes it felt like the way the teachers would word it or teach felt as if it was hard to follow God and that he would never accept me and I was never a good Christian because of all these rules and expectations. The 8th graders were also supposed to go on their final middle school field trip this year, but it never happened because they “forgot” to book the museum and the charter busses were too expensive, also because of the lack of students that didn't want to go. It saddened me that elementary school students go to go somewhere fun like Skate Station but the school still couldn't fit time for the middle schoolers to go on a field trip. Overall, I wasn't too pleased with this school and it is DEFINITELY not worth the $10,000 per child.Other Review10mo ago - Queen of Peace Catholic Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe finished our first year at QPCA in June and had a wonderful experience! After moving from another state and the only place my children knew as home, I was nervous and worried wondering how well they would adjust to a new school as well. Thankfully they had a great first year, adjusted quickly and were welcomed with open arms right from the start! The teachers, staff and students made them feel a part of the QPCA family instantly! In addition to this, I also feel my children’s learning experience was amazing and education was exceptional which is is SO very important!!! I too enjoyed my time this year volunteering both on campus and in classroom all throughout the year! Can’t wait for another amazing year at QPCA!!!Parent Review9mo ago - Brentwood School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLearning was great and the teachers were nice but have absolutely no support from their administration in dealing with students that have special needs. Our child was portrayed as a Tazmanian Devil that wreaked havoc. We felt that he definitely had a target on his back (not by his peers but by the staff and administration!) and sure enough, at his new school with an engaged administration, his teacher describes him as a pleasure to have in class. Mind blowing and infuriating all at the same time! Save your money and send your kid somewhere else.Parent Review11mo ago
