Oak Hall Lower School

This is the best elementary school. All staff and teachers are competent. Kids are loved! Kids are accepted and the school is very focused in academics. We love hidden oak. Two kids and 3 years in the schools and we have no doubt this is the best elementary school in Gainesville.

Not a good school when dealing with bullies. Staff turn a blind eye and blame the one being bullied instead of addressing the problem. If your child is different, he will be targeted.

I called in advance to confirm seat availability and was told there were openings, so I proceeded with the paid application—only to later find out the seats were already filled, with no clear or timely communication. I don’t care much about the amount of the application fee, but the way the admission process was handled was totally unprofessional and lacked transparency. This does not reflect the reputation one would expect from The Rock School.

We have really enjoyed being a part of QOP. Its a wonderful school and amazing staff and teachers. So lucky to have my kids here.

Our children thrived cognitively, socially, physically and emotionally at this amazing school. The teachers and administrators go to great lengths to care for each student and the overall learning that takes place in and out of the classroom. The extended care and summer camp are top-notch. Curiosity, learning, play, creativity, and kindness are all traits fostered at Brentwood. Highly recommend!

Learning was great and the teachers were nice but have absolutely no support from their administration in dealing with students that have special needs. Our child was portrayed as a Tazmanian Devil that wreaked havoc. We felt that he definitely had a target on his back (not by his peers but by the staff and administration!) and sure enough, at his new school with an engaged administration, his teacher describes him as a pleasure to have in class. Mind blowing and infuriating all at the same time! Save your money and send your kid somewhere else.
