Two years ago the administration changed and we have seen incredible improvements, not only to the physical structure of the school, but as well as the teaching staff. Posted by a parent on 6/6/2018Our son was doing well until the principal decided to terminate his 5th. grade teacher. The dismissal was both arbitrary and ill-advised. The decision was devastating to the kids and will hamper their academic growth going forward.

We love the teachers and they really do care about how they are doing in school. The K teacher is honest and helped our little one out so much this year. She is now reading in AR books and spelling words on her own.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter completed the third grade 2024-2025 and is now in the fourth grade 2025/2026 so she has been at the school for two years. Her progress is visible; she loves the school. We were warmly welcomed, and whenever I need assistance, the staff is accessible. Finding this school was a true gift especially meeting Ms. Ortega and Ms. Carceres, with whom we interact directly. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was bullied in this school and i remember her coming home with a black eye when she was only in 5th grade. Every classroom has its own bathroom but my daughter wanted to use the restroom and someone was in there and it was an emergency. So this teacher told her to use the bathroom in the hallway so she went in there and there was a group of girls who seemed to be friends and they had bullied her in the past. So my daughter just walked right past them to use the restroom and they asked her "Where do you think you're going" and she just ignored them and locked herself in the stall, before she could even do her business one of the girls walked in through the bottom of the stall and punched her and she punched her back, but my daughter was the one who got a black eye and not her.
