Bel-Aire Elementary School

Very much discrimination and favoritism shown throughout the school, a few staff members have confirmed this about other staff members also. I miss Mrs Mullins so bad, it's just getting worse now. I feel like the teachers hate their jobs and my kid is a burden and to top things off, the children aren't learning. Madam Hudge is amazing but the rest are a mess! Currently searching for other options, simple!

Needs overall improvement for the sake of its students

This school is not open to the public, but rather a program run by the archdiocese of Miami with public school teachers.

School went in into decline over the years, current administration is hypocritical, rude and honestly incompetent in some areas. Parents are belittled sometimes and student learning is not seemingly going well (whole classes are failing assessments and there is no real plan it seems to fix that issue). Leadership and higher ups also seem to be doing their best but it is clearly not working. Would not recommend this school if you are expecting actual Christian values or a worthwhile education without distractions and hindrances.

Parents pls stay away from registering your kids in HRSR. Tuition is not the cheapest and they still charge you for everything else. Pizza parties $6 per student, casual dress day $5, in school field trips(yes in school) $10. Mind you with all the tuitions, grants HRSR gets is still not enough to renovate any bathrooms, auditorium/ etc they are still as they were is the 70’s when the school was built. They love to mark you tardy if 1 minute late but make you wait sometimes up to 20-30 minutes after pick up time to get your kids. Events get cancelled rescheduled then cancelled again over and over it’s a disaster. Security is good and teachers are nice. But it does not justify paying for everything as a parent.
