7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really love this school, primarily because the enrollment numbers are lower than surrounding schools. I consider that a plus, as feel like staff at every level are visible and accessible, consistently. I usually see the Principal and Asst. VP multiple times a week, and on the rare occasion there's a problem - they're responsible. My kids love this school- teachers a friendly. I don't understand the negative reviews, our experience has been nothing but positive.Parent Review4y ago13 Reviews - Dave Thomas Education Center

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is great! Both of my sons attended that school the staff members are amazing. I love their security system it makes me feel that my kids are extremely safe in there. Best Pre-K teacher Mrs Jackie Webster she really cares about your babies and by far one of the best principles I've ever met Ms. Vicki Flournoy she really cares about her students and her school. I love love this school!Parent Review8mo ago11 Reviews - Abundant Life Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended this school for 7th grade this past schools year, and unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing — particularly with the lack of support from his English teacher and the administration. Throughout the school year, I made multiple attempts to communicate with his teacher to understand how I could help him succeed. She consistently acted too busy to engage, and my concerns were dismissed by the principal as well. My son would ask her for help and she would refer him back to the textbook. A lot of times she was yelling or having them watch videos from the curriculum.Despite these issues, I re-enrolled my son for the following year based on the promise that he would receive ESE (Exceptional Student Education) services. I paid $1,138.63 in enrollment fees. However, shortly after, I received an email claiming that my son had “challenged” a teacher — a claim I strongly dispute — and was told this could jeopardize his access to services. They are now refusing to refund the enrollment fees.To make matters worse, the school charges parents $2,000 for ESE services, even though they receive free tutoring support from Broward County Schools. The principal’s behavior was especially unprofessional — she called me “dishonest” in an email and speculated about my motives for changing my mind.I would strongly caution other parents to think twice before enrolling their child here. Our experience has been one of broken promises, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.Parent Review11mo ago9 Reviews - Randazzo School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen students feel safe and cared about, they will do their best. That's what we've found at Randazzo. The teachers here model kindness, tolerance for differences, and appreciation of individuality, and the students follow their lead. Bullying is not a problem here. The school takes a strengths-based approach to learning. Class sizes are small, and the teachers individualize the curriculum to ensure that every student is suitably challenged without being set up to fail. All types of learners are welcome. The staff here seems to truly believe in and be invested in the work that they do. The principal even makes a homemade lunch for the kids once a week. This school is a hidden gem, and we feel lucky to have found it.Parent Review1y ago24 Reviews
