Coconut Creek Elementary School

We faithfully attended this school for two years. Going into our third year and AFTER many parents paid enrollment fees, they decided to lay off a very high percentage of their staff (60-70%), seemingly out of nowhere with no warning to the parents. Staff we had built trust with. Myself and other parents were uncomfortable continuing in the school due to this so we decided to withdraw due to being blind sided and not being provided a reason as to why the change took place. It was very shady. They are denying refunds. I myself am losing $1,200 in re-enrollment fees because they refuse to refund it. After two years of always paying on time and faithfully, they decided whoever is against their change has to suffer consequences. Money that won’t go toward my child at all, lost. Do not enroll here. They cannot be trusted to steward your money well and their current employee situation is unstable.

Staff is amazing, considerate and kind. They really treat you like family here.

My son and I came to Chabad early in our journey to reclaim our heritage. Chabad helped to shape my son's relationship with Hashem. He was described later by his Yeshiva High School Principal, Perry Tirschwell, as a deeply sincere, religious young man. He's married raising his family in Skokie, IL. We were fortunate to have great rabbis, a good community, and Hebrew Academy.

When students feel safe and cared about, they will do their best. That's what we've found at Randazzo. The teachers here model kindness, tolerance for differences, and appreciation of individuality, and the students follow their lead. Bullying is not a problem here. The school takes a strengths-based approach to learning. Class sizes are small, and the teachers individualize the curriculum to ensure that every student is suitably challenged without being set up to fail. All types of learners are welcome. The staff here seems to truly believe in and be invested in the work that they do. The principal even makes a homemade lunch for the kids once a week. This school is a hidden gem, and we feel lucky to have found it.
