Posted by a parent on 5/20/2023We have been at RLCA for 8 consecutive years, going into our 9th (now senior, 10th grader and 5th grader). We were looking for a local private Christian school because a curriculum with biblical foundation is a prime factor for us. You may not get the extra curricular activities or some other amenities that public schools (or a lot more expensive schools) have to offer, but you get highly qualified and dedicated teachers, wisely picked by an administration that values professionalism and excellence, listens to parents, and is continuously developing and improving the learning environment. Your students will be equipped for life as much as they are willing to take away, in every area, academically, spiritually, socially.
Posted by a parent on 7/5/2021Our three boys have been attending RLCA for over 10 years. It’s is Christ centered and aims to develop character and life skills into its students. Academics, athletics, and extra curricular activity is excellent and growing. I highly support and recommend RLCA.

Posted by a parent on 6/22/2021I highly recommend this school to any parent who wants your child to succeed and feel they matter at the same time. The administration and teachers really care about their students. They also go above what the average teacher would do to make sure their students achieve their goals and succeed. Not only have these teachers been doing the job of two teachers because some of the students were working virtually from home, but they really care about each and every student. I have witnessed them praying for their students, grading papers at all hours of the night, working on projects, and taking their personal time to email students back. The administration works overtime to make sure the parents are informed about the status of their children's academic and social well-being. Thank you Dr. Engle and the staff for taking wonderful care of the students and keeping the parents informed.

But my problem is that i dont believe they know how to handle adhd children. I would be punished or isolated for being distracted. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn a day when social issues is the priority for what is being taught in schools today - this school actually teaches math, reading, and science. Our son is on an IEP. They send the letter home every year with the date for his next goal meeting with plenty of time to reschedule if it doesn't fit our schedule. They provide him with the extra resources he needs and always ask for my input for what he needs. We do not have a lot of money, and do what we can for the fundraisers and supplies. It is a school of choice. We would choose it over and over again. The principal is an excellent leader - she has high expectations and holds everyone to the same standards. I do not have a personal relationship with her or the administration, but I respect the way they handle the conflict constantly thrown at them by rude adults. The school would not be what it is without its great leaders. I appreciate them.
