Pinecrest Lakes Academy

WELL I MOVED TO FLORIDA IN 2014 AND THIS HAS BEEN THE ONLY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MY NOW HIGH & MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ATTENDED I COULDNT BE HAPPIER THE STAFF SINCERELY CARES AT THE STUDENTS I FEEL LIKE FAMILY WITH MOST STAFF & TEACHERS THEY REALLY LOVE THE CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY IM ABSOLUTELY VERY PLEASED ON HOW WELL THEY COMMUNICATE WITH ME & MY HUSBAND THEY ALWAYS ARE INFORMATIVE ON WHAT MY KIDS NEEDS WHERE/ARE I MUST SAY FROM THE FRONT OFFICE TO THE CLASSROOM I GIVE THEM A+ IN MY BOOK I LOVE THE SMALLER ENVIRONMENT SETTING FOR MY CHILDREN AND THEY ARE THRIVING

I attended this school for 10 years pre-k through kindergarten and i recently graduated last year. I must say this was the most dreadful and awful experience my life have has experienced. I was treated poorly in my elementary years but in my middle years it was utter hell. The administration team treats students who are more popular then other kids with special treatment and are less strict on them compared to the students that aren’t as popular or don’t participate in school activities. The teachers were rude and unprofessional the only good member at that school is coach Davidson. He was the only good staff and was extremely nice. I was also made fun of and ridiculed in some of my classes and the staff and teachers did nothing about it. The lunch is also not well prepared i have experienced mold in my chocolate milk and raw bread on multiple occasions. This school tries to act like a great and good school but it is truly awful when you actually attend. To sum this all up please don't send your children to this god awful school.

We are so happy here! After coming from a local private Christian school in town, making the decision to bring our child to cypress was the best decision I’ve made for my child. My child found his love for school again. I am forever grateful for his kindergarten teacher, Ms. Shekarchi. She is warm, kind, and all of the kids love her. She is everything I could have asked for in a teacher and I am forever grateful for her. Cypress ridge also has the best PTO. I’ve never seen a PTO with such dedication and pride in what they do. The work they have done for the school and the students shows. We love the principal, Mr. Frana. He is always seen on campus and makes his presence known. Car rider line? He’s there. PTO meeting? He’s there too. I love how involved he is and you can truly tell he loves this school.Thank you, Cypress Ridge, for taking care of my child throughout the day in a safe environment and filling the school with loving and caring teachers.

This will be our last year at Grassy Lake. I would recommend this school to any parent I know. All the teachers my kids had from kindergarten to 5th grade have been supportive, open to communication, always available etc.

ACA does not support its teachers. The principal fired a lot of teachers in the spring. They were all women. He has not filled most of the vacancies left by his action's. He also has hired unqualified people to teach in the school. Many do not have a teaching degree. I don’t understand how that is even possible. Don’t send your children there. Admin has not regard for racism, sexism and they do not tolerate children with disabilities. Absolutely disgusting school and admin team. You can do better.
