Schmidt Elementary School

We pulled our student from a local private school and enrolled her into Limona. She has had an incredible experience thus far (7 months) with reading, writing, and math. We have had nothing but support and a positive experience.

I did school choice for this school.....I'm glad we did. I like the school but the teachers I have came in contact with for my son has been "AWESOME". He is entering the 4th grade and I can't wait to see what this teacher has in store for my son and his parents.

This school is not a safe or inclusive place. They asked students to wear red in support of Charlie Kirk — a man known for racist, anti-Black, and homophobic views. That alone says everything.Their history books claim Christopher Columbus “helped” Native Americans because they were “too primitive,” and they force harmful Christian beliefs on kids while ignoring real education. As a Black family, it’s painful to see our children being fed bias instead of truth.This school promotes ignorance and hate under the disguise of faith and learning. Parents deserve to know the truth.

Faith Baptist Christian School This was the worst school ever. They only cater to foreign exchange students for sports and the foreign exchange students are older than most students in the class. They have 19/20 year old men with young girls. The teaching staff was horrible aswell. They only cared about the sports aspect of the school and not the education. It may be a good elementary school but a high school absolutely not. I would not recommend this school to no one.

Fantastic school. The leadership, staff, teachers, and families are overwhelmingly committed and caring. Probably the safest-feeling environment for both parents and their children. The academics are above average with several sports and arts opportunities. We also enjoy having the attached MAC Athletic building available for sports leagues and activities where the kids can continue to be around their friends and school families.

Heaven help your child if they are being bullied. I have had COUNTLESS emails/phone calls/conferences throughout the years and NOTHING has changed. They don’t have a guidance counselor for kids to go to, they don’t have a designated nurse either. I don’t think anyone has called me or emailed me ever about something happening TO my child but they sure do reach out if she does something wrong. They go through teachers like crazy! In one year my child had 4 DIFFERENT math teachers! 4!!!! How is my child supposed to thrive like this?! They don’t have an indoor lunch room for the children either! Try to get an understanding of what the kids are learning? Good luck! No agendas, no weekly communication, nothing. My child has tried harming herself and had to be put in therapy because of the bullying she has received at this school! I am fed up. Please, please if you love your children DO NOT PUT THEM IN THIS SCHOOL.
